I began using Wicked Pixie as my salon about a year ago - and I'm very pleased. My stylist, Courtney, is talented with coloring and cutting-I always come away feeling 10 years younger and hip..pretty good for an official senior citizen.

Courtney has a full staff of 4 stylists at her salon which means there is usually someone available in case of emergency....but the best news is that you can schedule online. Thats a real convenience.

I don't review much, but when I come across a place that excels in what they do I think it's important to offer support...

Whats really nice is that Courtney doesn't try to wedge me into an old lady style, an experience I've run across at other salons..we aren't all interested in pincurls and hairspray helmets....

Wicked Pixie rocks!

Do not let "stylist" Marci near your hair, she doesn't care or listen to what you want. The salon is filthy. Marci was given a photo for inspiration and glanced at it for a millisecond then said she was ready. Needless to say, my hair turned out NOTHING like what I asked for. Then she had the nerve to actually ASK for a tip....unprofessional to say the least. Bottom line: You have choices, if you choose Wiked Pixie...just don't go to Marci.

Awesome Service!!. I have been a client of the Wicked Pixie Salon at both locations. Courtney does awesome hair color and is very positive and upbeat. I was a client of hers in Arizona and I now travel from Arizona to Oregon to have my hair done by her. The salon decor has never been my main concern, although I have to say it is quite FUN and FUNKY! The talent, technique, and character of the stylist is what matters. At the end of the day I am the one that looks fabulous. There is an amazing team effort within this place. Marci and Savannah have a great personality and are always more that happy to help each other out. I would highly recommend the Wicked Pixie Salon to anyone!

Questionable practices, no customer service. After months of home color and terrible hair cuts after my stylist moved away, I saw an ad for Wicked Pixie Salon with fabulous hair color that really caught my eye. I made an appointment with Marci for a cut and color. When I got to the salon, I was not terribly impressed with the decor or cleanliness, but a cup of coffee and a desperate need for a haircut convinced me to give it a shot.

The first cut/color took a VERY long time (over five hours), but I wanted a complicated style with multiple colors, so I was willing to be patient. I was assured that future sessions would be shorter. My hair looked truly amazing, so I figured it was worth it.

Future appointments took nearly as long-- I learned to book out an entire afternoon, as I spent a lot of time waiting for Marci to rinse me, or mix more color, or dry my hair so she could add more color... She never took any notes or followed the same process twice.

The gossip that I heard in the place was crazy-- they even talked about other clients. I just kept my mouth shut and didn't share anything. Courtney always seems to have some sort of major interpersonal drama going on, and it is somewhat amusing to watch.

For the next few cut/colors, my hair continued to look fantastic, but the time I was spending in the salon was ridiculous. However, as I wanted to build a relationship with a decent stylist, and she was doing good things for my hair, I brought all my daughters, a couple of friends, and my mother-in-law to see her.

I have spent nearly $200 every time I have seen Marci, and I thought it was worth it-- until the last time. My color was uneven and showed obvious missed spots, my cut was rushed and not as good, and I had to return the following week to get it all repaired. Marci seemed resentful and asked what I had done differently-- as though it were my fault.

Now, I can't seem to get an appointment with her, as she doesn't return phone calls and is booked whenever I can get a half day free to see her. Also, there seems to be some new issue with food and drink in the salon, so don't expect to be offered any beverage. Last time I was there, I got water in a dirty glass, after I had been there for 3 hours and asked for it. There were several piles of hair on the sidewalk outside the door, drifts of hair under furniture inside, and the restroom was flat-out filthy.

My advice, for what it is worth-- visit Wicked Pixie at your own discretion. They seem to do good work (most of the time) without actually having a lot of respect for their clients. Don't say anything worth repeating, as you can be sure that you will be the topic of discussion after you leave. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

can you even get an appointment?!. why is it so hard to make an appointment? I've tried 4 times over the past 2 days -- no one has answered the phone, or called me back.
