SIMPLY AMAZING. Drool-Worthy!!. Went here with friends and at first thought it would be expensive all together after looking at the menu online (especially compared to Hot Pot City at $14/all you can eat), but it ended up being about the same price - AND we ordered a LOT of food, about 10 dishes.

This is the BEST hot pot I have EVER HAD. I've had lesser versions not only in Portland but also Southern California which caters more toward Asian cuisine than Portland. They also have amazing peanut sauce, spicy sauce and some other mild sauce I cannot remember - but it was a perfect compliment. They make their own noodles and dumplings right when you order them which are to die for. They give you tons of food per each single order, and you are sharing one large pot among friends - not individual pots which takes away from the sharing experience.

The service is wonderful, because the owner is so kind and makes sure to familiarize anyone with how to eat hot pot if you have never done so before, and also provides some insightful background. The service is prompt and wonderfully efficient yet not bothersome or intrusive like most places.

This is a local spot so you know it's good and authentic. When you go here BRING FRIENDS! It's a GREAT place for a date as well since you will both be engaged, not just clanking your fork and knife around with awkward pauses in the get-to-know-you process. Kids would love this too and I would imagine if they dislike eating vegetables, this would be a great place that would make them love their veggies since they're engaged in the cooking process.

TIP: When trying to find this place, remember it is on the RIGHT after passing the Fu-something marketplace (big marketplace). I believe it is located within the WM Marketplace which really doesn't have much of a sign. If you've hit Division (going North) you've gone too far. WORTH searching for. YUM!
