This photographer really understands the competing needs of a professional appearance, and a client's desire to look attractive. I was concerned when the photographer suggested using her stylist
prior to getting a "corporate head shot" for my job at WEB MD. More of an athlete than a make up person I was worried about looking garish and unnatural. I can asset that her stylist, Maria, was terrific and well worth the extra fee. Together Irene and Maria can make anyone (even a 60ish woman) look good.

Photography/Camera Instruction. The original purpose of my trip from New England to the Pacific Northwest was to attend a women's photography retreat. Unfortunately, the retreat was cancelled. Determined to create my own trip, I decided to find photography instruction in Portland, the first stop of my trip. I am thrilled that my online research brought me to Irene of Elena Rose Photography! First of all, Irene was flexible in scheduling the 2-hour session with me, accommodating a date change to meet my travel itinerary. The two hours spent with her studying my new camera, its use, special features and discussing photography techniques was a very valuable experience and served as a great beginning to my travels through Oregon, Washington and British Columbia. Irene is charming, gracious and a skilled professional. And there's more! In our initial email correspondence she offered me some helpful information about using MAX, the public transportation system. When I realized during our session that I'd forgotten to pack the battery charger, Irene assisted me in locating just what I needed in a local store. I really appreciated her helpfulness!
