good food. a guy i worked with brought in a to go box of food i was sceptical because i tried hawian food before and was not impressed but im very glad i tried it i am gonna be going to the restraunt myself now it was yummy yummy yummy

True Hawaiian Plate lunches. Hawaiian Time Cafe is in Vancouver and we don't own a store in NW Portland. My name is Kawika and my father Kekoa founded Hawaiian Time in Eugene Oregon in the mid 90's but sold Oregon as a Territory in 2003. I wanted to bring back the Original food from our culture and family so I opened this location on Fourth Plain and now serve our original menu along with hard to find Hawaiian Favorites like good Saimin, Katsu, Loco Moco, Hamburger steak, Beef Curry Stew and much more.

We are proud to serve great food at reasonable prices. We will never satisfy everyone and wont pretend to. To keep prices reasonable our customers must understand that we take a little longer because we cook everything fresh to keep the quality up to par and don't have alot of employee's so we encourage our customers to call in your orders ahead of time to cut the wait time. Hawaiian plate lunches are pretty specific and always come with rice and mac salad. We understand some people have issues with carbs but for us to keep with tradition and be true to our culture and food, it's a must.

If you want true Hawaiian Plate lunches, come try us out . We encourage all of our customers to try a mixed plate to get a variety.

horibble Food Nasty !. Line long and wont stay that way ! food cooked in the morning and brought from vancouver. old and tasts terrible !
