Thank goodness of Rubbish Works and Betty Benson. The services they offer, large and small, make them a value for me now and in the future. They do almost everything concerning hauling and clean-up. With as busy as we all are today, Rubbish Worksâ?? very professional team really provide a great value with junk removal and cleanout. They work diligently, will work their best with your schedule and when they are done you will barely recognize the space. You get a whole new space! Their ability and breadth of junk removal services is more than I could provide myself or would care to provide myself. Whatâ??s great is they wonâ??t make you sort all of your own goods. They will do that for you and they take the time to recycle and properly dispose of all the junk that they hauled away. They provide a time saving value and an environmental value.

Rubbish Work's commitment to Green practices truly sets them apart from other rubbish removal services. For years, my garage was filled with items I didnâ??t want to throw into a landfill, but which we were not longer using. Rubbish Works made it easy to finally let these items go because I know they will find a good home for anything that can be donated, reused or recycled. The promptness and professionalism of the Rubbish Works team is outstanding, but it is Betty's passion for and commitment to her work that makes me a lifelong client and huge fan of Rubbish Works. I highly recommend Betty Benson and Rubbish Works! They provide the BEST and most affordable service in Portland!

I am so impressed by Rubbish Works and the owner Betty Benson. Her company quickly hauls away the excess junk/debris from your home or commercial site and then does the needful in order to recycle, donate, and/or re-use as much of your unwanted goods as possible

Like many in Portland, I want to make sure that a company I work with is committed to the environment. With Rubbish works, I feel 100% confident that not even one tiny item will end up in the landfill that doesnâ??t have to.

When I first met with Betty, I was immediately struck by her high level of organization and professionalism. The company on a whole reflects the same qualities. How often do you see clean-cut employees in uniform working for a rubbish removal company? They also follow very strict safety guidelines, ensuring that neither you nor the employees are injured on the work site.

Rubbish works offers excellent customer service. There is no other company I would work with for rubbish removal in Portland.

Heavenly service!. My garage was nothing short of an embarrassment. Seriously, what was I supposed to do with all these random belongings and junk that I’d collected over the years? And, to add to the heap of crap, I had a bunch of painting supplies from my commercial painting company. The thought of sorting out everything and figuring out what goes to dump, what gets recycled, what goes to Metro and so forth was daunting and I was just letting it pile up and it was causing all sorts of irritation in my life. I didn’t know who would take a broke down appliance along with boxes of very fashionable 1980’s attire, mixed in with a retired Apple computer and a useless piano. Well, nothing feels better than a good purge, let me tell you! I got rid of so much stuff with one phone call, and Rubbish Works took care of everything. It was miraculous! The trash angels came in, gave me a great estimate, and swooped it all away to the great junk yard in the sky. Couldn’t be happier and I feel two tons lighter!

A Lifesaver!. I have just been through something that every child dreads, the aging, downturn and death of a parent. My father passed away only a few weeks ago. I was surprised that one of the most difficult issues surrounding his death was sorting through all of the things that he had accumulated over the years. Some of them were “treasures” and those were easy to put aside or share or save for later. Other things just needed to be disposed of so that we could turn his property over to the landlord. In a state of grief that seemed like more than I could handle and then I remembered Betty Benson and Rubbish Works of Portland. I had met Betty at a networking event. I remembered her telling us that her company specialized in cleaning out homes after a loved one has passed away. What a life saver! All I had to do was call her and tell her it was ready for her inspection and action. She comes in, gives an estimate (very reasonable) and takes it from there. Fast, easy, and a perfect solution to a very difficult situation! Priceless!

A Company That Cares. Although I've known Betty and her company for awhile now, I just recently had an opportunity to see them in action. Recently several members of our local Chamber, including Rubbish Works, came together to help a longtime community volunteer who was in need. Her manufactured home was a complete loss due to a kitchen fire and she needed help clearing the site. Betty and Larry Benson not only sent a truck and a worker, they both were at the site working all day themselves. It was great to see how well Betty did in talking to the victim about what items could be saved and what couldn't. Betty was compassionate and supportive while remaining firm on issues of safety.

It is not often that you see a company so dedicated to giving back to the communities that support them with such hands on actions. This is the sort of company that I want to support with my purchase. If you know of anyone who has a large cleanup to do, whether it's disaster related, downsizing, rental cleanup or more, Rubbish Works is the company to contact.

Rubbish Works Rocks!. I became acquainted with Betty and Rubbish Works through a networking group, and have had the extreme pleasure of doing business with them. Her company loves to exceed expectations by not only getting rid of your rubbish, but also making sure that as much as possible is reused, re-purposed and recycled. If you have to throw stuff away, make sure you do it the proper Portland way by using this service that has a heart. This is NOT a run-of-the-mill disposal service. They will enter your home or business and sort through the piles to determine what needs to go to the dump and what is salvageable. If the idea of sending perfectly good stuff to the dump makes you sick but you don't have the time to sort and make all trips to drop-off sites all over town, CALL RUBBISH WORKS! Recently, they gave my business a large white board that they had been asked to dispose of from a large corporate site. They once gave a large number of empty bottles to a needy family to recycle and make a large sum of money in bottle deposits. Another time they donated their services to someone suffering from cancer. Betty and Larry have a passion for helping people and making a difference. They embody the Portland spirit!

Impressive business woman!. I met Betty a year ago and have been impressed by her from the start. She is a dedicated business woman with a strong mission! She has a desire to not only meet the immediate trash hauling needs of her clients, she wishes to make a eternal difference in the environment by recycling at every opportunity. Her integrity shows which makes her very successful. You go girl! You have inspired me to do great things!

Rubbish Works of Portland helps you be clean and green!. Rubbish Works of Portland came to our home and picked up a big hodge-podge collection of stuff we've wanted to get rid of for a long time. One of the best things is that they take all the various items to the appropriate places, whether they need to be recyled, re-used, or taken to the dump. They do their best to recycle and re-use, though, so they truly are a "green" company. They also perform their services so cleanly and quietly. It's a piece of cake! The owners, Betty and Larry, are such great people and I highly recommend this company to remove any rubbish!
