I would not recommend this salon to anyone. I was scheduled for a facial and received a call an hour prior to my appoint that Whitney had a color mishap and would have to change my appointment to 2:30 or 4pm. I said neither of those times would work for me and I was told they would move me to Kelsey and keep my original appointment time. I showed up 15 minutes prior to my appointment. And after waiting a 1/2 hr I was told that my appointment wasn't until 2:30. This salon is not consider of people time. I was not told on the phone and nor did anyone call me back and tell me. The fact that I show up and not even told when I checked in. The front desk person never the appointment before mine was 90 minutes. She did not want to hear of my frustration and was rude as well. I will NEVER consider this salon!!

I visited Tru Awakenings for a hair cut and highlights that I purchased through Sharing Spree. I was really happy with my hair and was thankful to Whitney who did it for me. I disagree with the previous comment and was treated with great customer service. Whitney really helped me find a style and color that fit what I needed and my hair looked great when I left.

Tru Awakenings Salon and Spa-Tisha. I was really impressed with Tru Awakenings Salon and Spa. Its has such a great vibe. My hairstylist was Tisha and I loved her. She is very friendly and outgoing and easy to talk to. She colored and cut my hair, and I felt that she really listened to and cared about how I wanted it done. I went from long hair to a very short style bob and she did a great job. I was very nervous to cut off all my hair but she reassured me the style would look good on me, and took a lot of time and care to make sure that it was exactly what I wanted. She knew that my hair had been damaged from previous dying so she used a great shamp and cond that made my hair feel so soft and healthy again. I really enjoyed my entire salon experience and especially loved Tisha! She is a great hairstylist who really knows what she is doing! My hair looks great and I will definitely be going back to her!

Best facial ever. Presented my Groupon for a half-price 60-minute facial and was treated to a wonderful, perfect experience. Dark quiet setting, new age music, sounds of falling water, five stage facial with three steaming hot towel treatments, gentle exfoliation, arm/shoulder/head massage . . . the whole 9 yards. The woman who worked on me is named Kelsey. G.R.E.A.T.

Best Kept Secret!. I have been to Tru Awakenings salon twice now and I will continue to go back again and again! Tisha has colored and cut my hair and does an amazing job! She is super friendly and very knowledgeable in what she does! I have recommended a few friends go see her when they need some hair care, always a wonderful experience!! ASK FOR TISHA, SHE IS WONDERFUL!!

So relaxing and would definitely go back!!!!. I got my Sharing Spree for one hour massage for $29 what a deal first of all! I had been super busy with work and figured this was the perfect week to redeem my massage. I walked in and was so happy when I was greeted by friendly staff and offered water. The massage was wonderful so what I needed, very relaxing and I didn't want it to end!

The BEST!!!. I've been going to Nicole for all of my hair needs for a couple of years now. I found her after a couple of really bad hairtastrophies and thank goodness I did! I always walk out of the salon feeling great and love the compliments I get from friends and coworkers on how cute my hair looks.

First & LAST visit!. Read all the reviews and thought I would give this place a try as my old hairdresser moved way. Kym was the stylist and I explained in great detail what I wanted and she seemed to understand. I had my hair highlighted all over my already short hair and then I needed a cut to shape up the style. Firstly, the color hardly showed on my hair and was not the color I had requested. When the haircut was finished, the color was almost gone and I had chopped up hair and not anything like I had requested! Truthfully, I looked like a boy! Well, I was devasted but paid the $ and left. I felt so bad about how my hair looked and am still in shock anyone could still be cutting hair with no ability! Perhaps it should have been a sign that the salon was almost empty except for one other stylist! I would NOT recommend that salon if they can keep someone like Kym! Beware!!!! Big $$$ for bad hair! BTW, I had to give them one star to get this review up but Kym did not deserve even one.

Tisha Jo Stylist. I have been looking for Tisha for a while now!! I had followed her from Vital barber shop in Tualatin to the Grand salon spa. She had been cutting my hair for years glad to see she is still doing it. If you need a great hair cut she can do it. First time I went in to see her I had long hair that I had a hard time doing anything with. Now I have a short funky hair cut I love!!!!! Will be going in to see her soon.

Haircut. I have been getting my hair cut by Tisha for years, and she always aims to please! I am super picky about my hair, because I have several cowlicks that are hard to work around and style if not cut the way I like it...She goes out of her way to make time around my busy schedule to fit me in, and always takes her time to make me feel comfortable when I see her! If you are a guy who is picky about your hair, I would recommend her!
