Wow, just a horrible experience taking my pets there to be groomed today. I dropped them off at 8:30 in the morning and they did not mention what time they expected to be finished. I had a very important (cell phones off) meeting this morning at 10:30 I had to attend. After the meeting was over I promptly checked my phone at 11:30 and saw that I had a voicemail that my pets were done being groomed. This message was left shortly after my meeting began just after 10:30. So I went straight down there to pick them up (I was only ten minutes away). When I got there I immediately began getting attitude from the staff for not getting there right away after they called. I told them that I had been in a meeting and that in the past it was never a problem for them to wait a little while after getting done until I could pick them up (this is after all a doggie day care and I had provided a kennel carrier). They said this was a new policy. Well that was news to me since they certainly had bothered to mention it to me before! I suppose I am expected to wait in the wings for two plus hours so that I can be pick them up the second they are done? If that's the case some advance notice that that is the case would be nice. I gave them my credit card to pay my bill, and when I was signing it I noticed I had been overcharged. When I asked I was told that was the $20 "late fee". It was only one hour after they called I came and picked them up, and this was during normal business hours (they weren't even close to closing) No one even bothered to mention to me that they were charging me this, just tacked it on my bill and didn't say a word! I sincerely hope they enjoy the extra $20 because it will cost them hundreds of dollars of my future business. What a great way to treat a long time customer and what a way to run a business during a recession!

I am so pleased..... I wasn't sure that our rescue dog would be accepted--due to some anxiety issues--but they temperament-tested her and she now goes about once a week for 4 - 6 hours.

The people who run the day care and who work there are kind, dog-loving people, and our dog has slowly blossomed into a more confident girl who is always happy to go to daycare.

We are very pleased because it is a safe place for her, and her anxiety has been reduced by her visits there--she has developed some friendships with other dogs, and really enjoys herself. She always comes home calmer...

Excellent Establishment. Oregon Dogs, Inc. is a combination dog daycare facility, grooming facility and pet store. I love, love, love this place. It's as clean as a whistle, with a huge amount of running space for the dogs, and an attentive, caring staff. I've got a lively puppy that they've treated with extreme TLC. They understand each of their dogs and they even guide them toward better habits while in their care. They temperament test dogs before their first stay, so I never have to worry about aggressive dogs. They provide self-serve grooming as well as professional grooming. I would highly recommend Oregon Dogs, Inc. to every dog owner I know.
