Grilled cheese, hamburgers and popcorn have all gone gourmet, but until now, the peak in ice cream luxury was a Ben & Jerry's flavor with unsavory name, objected to by mothers everywhere. Salt & Straw is working to change that, ushering in a new age in ice cream. The Portland dessert destination is churning out grown-up flavors like brown ale and bacon from all natural and organic ingredients. Grocery aisle imitators should be ashamed of themselves.

As if their temptations weren't creatively delicious enough, S&S went and added a 6-pack of beer ice cream flavors for summer like barrel aged cherry stout (using Hair Of The Dog) and IPA Upside down cake (using Gigantic Ipa and a real pineapple upside down cake).

AMAZING ice cream. Not your run of the mill flavors...very one of a kind. Some of them sound weird, but they let you try a sample of as many kinds as you want, and I haven't tasted a flavor so far that wasn't great!
