There seems to be some confusion over the term “pie hole”--most people think it’s something best shut, whereas here in the loveably alternative universe of Portlandia, it’s something to be stuffed. This turquoise travel trailer-gone-brick and mortar has come to the semantic and culinary rescue, stacking the case of their airy new Northeast bakery with delectable miniature chocolate, marionberry, and banana cream-filled pies (aka pie holes) that fit snugly in one’s palm, just before being transported to their, well, pie hole. So that clears that up.

More like Pies Spot (because Pie Spots actually don't sound appetizing). Too many changing great options. Good luck picking between the chocolate hazelnut or the lemon vanilla bean. Actually: get both pies/spots.

This sweet, stubby little turquoise travel trailer’s window is filled with fresh pie-holes—miniature pies that are just the right size and crust-to-filling ratio to satisfy a serious pie-craving. Traditionalists, try the apple crumble or brown butter pecan, experimentalists, go for innovations like the raspberry & pink pepper. Stay tuned for their brick and mortar bakery, currently under construction.

This food cart’s single-serving “pie holes” (both sweet and savory) hit the proverbial spot. Rotating menu depending on what’s in season. Mmm…marionberry….
