I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. This is the quintessential ice cream shop. Couldn't be any more all-American. The lady behind the counter looks like she's been there a good spell and the interior is about what it was in the 50's. Portland has so many 'transporting' experiences, but if you want to be transported right to ice cream heaven, do not waste any time getting over here. All homemade on the spot. Damn! My new fave.
