Minimalist surroundings let you focus all the harder on this Fremont St. pub’s excellent house cocktails (you can even order a No Hassle Night, only in liquid form though, the rest is up to you) and bar menu—please, promise me you’ll get the smoked cheddar mac n’ cheese, it’s at the top of its class.

The Free House is perfect for drinks and a bar snack after a hard day at the office. I highly recommend the Finnhorse, the only occasion in which Scotch should ever be mixed with anything other than water.
