About a year ago, I had a major kitchen
flooding issue in my rental house. My landlord's insurance adjuster recommended Servpro to get everything taken care of... Things started out fine and then quickly turned awful.
1) They left a RAZORBLADE in the middle of the kitchen floor. I had two crawling-age babies and that was so far beyond unacceptable. I called the main office to tell them about it and no one really seemed to care.
2) Somewhere along the way, our change jar "vanished". Lovely.
3) A YEAR later, after everything was supposedly done, my landlord received a mystery bill from Servpro for a service they never even told her wouldn't be covered by insurance. PLUS all sorts of interest and penalties! It would be one thing if this had occurred during the whole ordeal, or even a month later, but A YEAR?! I'm sorry, but I'm pretty sure you can't start charging late fees and interest unless you've actually sent other bills in the first place. WTF?!
I could go on, but suffice it to say I would never in a million years recommend this terrible company to anyone.
