This restaurant has many things going for it; the quality of the ingredients, friendly staff, imaginative menu, and prime location. The problem is that they just can't put it all together. I have eaten there once and it suffers from the same problem that many vegan restaurants fall prey to; every dish has far too many competing flavors. Just because you have 87 ingredients in the pantry doesn't mean all of them need to go into EVERY dish. Because of this the flavors are harsh and unsophisticated. To gauge the true flavor of the dish I ordered my meal without the quinoa. It was a pretty unharmonious clash of flavors--everything in the bowl competed so there was no blending. My suggestion to them would be to develop a standard dish like "chicken" paprikash using their fake meat and tofu to "cream" the sauce. It is obvious someone in the kitchen is very skilled, but needs a little bit of refinement.
