Modern Man remains a misnomer when considering this barber shop's flair for tradition. Sit in one of the four old school shop chairs while skilled hands perform a hot towel straight razor shave. And yes, it comes with a glass of Scotch.

A shave and a haircut will set you back more than two bits at this stylin' Alberta Street barber, but when it comes with complimentary scotch, and there's a full-on saloon (with cigars) upstairs, who cares?

Services such as a classic straight razor shave or the “Modern Cut” come with a choice of whiskey, bourbon, scotch, beer or wine. If you’re unemployed and need a sprucing up for a job interview, they'll do it on the house.
