Your basement may be a festering cesspool of lost socks, unwanted Christmas gifts and zombie relatives you’re still holding out hope of a cure for, but Wonder Ballroom had bigger aspirations for their underground real estate—installing the Bunk team’s latest endeavor in their cozy crawlspace. Owner Tommy Habetz and Nick Wood’s exploratory forays to Austin have yielded a Tex-Mex menu with Pacific Northwest twists—try the lamb shoulder quesadilla with hazelnut mole and torta with housemade chile and cheese sausage.

Trigger fills that void of Tex-mex in Portland. Even the Frito Pie has top-notch ingredients and slow cooked meat. It's Tex-mex on 'roids.

After a concert at the Wonder Ballroom, this is just the place to get a drink and some artery-endangering Tex Mex. Sexy little bar, potent drinks, and chips ' queso dip...it's a good combination.

Tex-mex under the Wonder Ballroom by the same owners of Bunk Sandwiches. The taco's were great, the shrimp with the flour tortilla & the pork in a crunchy corn shell did not disappoint. A cozy vibe with a warm red ambient glow fills this space, friendly & funny waitstaff & a bowl of red hot jawbreakers await you as you leave.
