10+ years of regularly visiting this restaurant: WON'T GO BACK AGAIN. Initially went to this restaurant for quite a few years when it was in an old railroad car in John's Landing: had many large family birthday parties there. Then resumed going when they moved to Beaverton, however, owner never acknowledges remembering me: just me and husband now. Why, I ask myself? Perhaps because I'm not Asian, nor do I spend a lot of money in there anymore. One of my friends who is Asian goes in there regularly also, says owner always remembers them, comes by and talks and gives them free meals. Hmmm. The last time we were in there, the owner finally spoke to us when he brought us our bill, but was loud and insulting, so we will not return.

The decor has never changed: plastic plants with christmas lights in them year-round. The food is average, but not as good as JinWah.

This long time customer is no more! This is America, and all customers should be treated equally!!

The food here is consistenty good, go back again and again to try all of the many creative choices.. The sauces rarely vary in their flavor or consistency. The food tastes the same from day to day. The food is never over cooked and vegetables never mushy. Mushy vegetable are a problem at some nearby chinese restaurants. The traditional faire is well done, but you must try the specialities of the house here. Try the THREE INGREDIANTS or the HOUSE SPECIAL CHOW MEIN.

It will take you a number of visits to get through the lengthy menu of interesting and CREATIVE CHOICES. You will find yourself coming back time after time just to try something new.

Below average food, not recommended. The Chinese food here is below average, it tastes like what you would find at your typical mall food court serving up Chinese food. The food is based on the customers it brings in...it's fine if you don't know any better. My suggestion is Jin Wah down the street on SW 117th and Canyon...it's better Chinese food and it's also where all the Asians bring their families to eat.

Overall Amazing. My boyfriend and I have been there several times, and it is our favorite date spot. We recommend the chicken trio and the shrimp trio (enough food for three!)

A taste of Honey. This place has the best "Honey Walnut Shrimp" I have ever had. The owners are the best . They remember me, no matter how long between my visits. The Chef's special is unreal with flavors and you never know what you might get since it is his choice. Great place for a fun party.

My favorite basic Chinese place. I'm not from New York, and this place doesn't suck. The pot stickers are the best in town (and large), and the chicken dishes are the best I've had at "traditional" American-Chinese restaurants. Some of the sauces are a bit on the heavy side, but I usually get mine on the side anyway. If you are looking for a fancy place, go to Sungari - but if you want an inexpensive, great tasting meal, with large dinner portions, China Bay's the place!
