The Scene
Hall Street feels vaguely upscale, but looks faintly dated. The sangria-red theme and black leather booths recall an era when dining rooms were extravagantly appointed and food fussily presented. Still, diners love the updated menu. They come in large groups, frequently after office hours, to join a boisterous crowd or simply soak up the happy-hour scene.
The Food
The menu is Northwest-accented with hints of haute cuisine pretension and prices on the higher end. But food is done well and with imagination. Cedar plank wild Chinook salmon is faultless with barbecue demi-glace and yam fries. Other standouts include tender mesquite-grilled sea scallops with chili-garlic oil, and meaty tenderloin with porcinis and crumbled Gorgonzola. House specials such as wild mushroom ravioli are simple and satisfying. Don't leave without trying the Belgian chocolate mousse. Whipped with heavy cream and eggs, it is irresistibly decadent.

Pretty average dishes at a very overpriced rate. Glad they do coupn and two for one cards or we'd skip it for good. Menu is small, boring and has not changed much in 3 years - never a special

My wife and I had a nice dinner here with friends- we each had a beer and she had the quinoa and I had a pasta. I couldn't believe the amount of food we received. After spending $47 (with tip) I SHOULD leave full! The presentation was nice, and it tasted great, but the small portion was not worth $16.95 for my pasta, or her dish. We asked for more bread but the waiter forgot to bring it to us. We both left still hungry but unwilling to pay more. For half the price I could have gone to Olive Garden nearby and left stuffed. In this economy when we don't go out as much as we used to, it's unfortunate to see a restaurant profitting or 'getting by' for skimping. There is nothing more annoying then leaving a restaurant still hungry, and feeling taken advantage of!!!

The day we went for lunch, the service was poor, the prices high and the food inconsistant. My husband and I ordered the same sandwich but they were not made the same.
