Tips for Motel 6 Beaverton

Affordabe and Clean. Ok, this is a Motel 6 so there are limited amenities. However, the rooms here are very clean and comfortable. Before I moved to Oregon, I always stayed in this motel because the prices are GREAT! There are also a couple of places to eat within walking distance, and the cedar hills mall and movie theatre are just around the corner, probably less than a mile away. I highly reccomend this hotel to people traveling on a budget.

Nasty Rude People. The room was nasty, They were too cheap to have a clock in the room and the shower didn't work! I tried to shower in the morning and it didn't work, when I checked out and complained the girl at the front desk asked why I didn't call to let her know. Ughhh cause I was naked trying to fix it myself? I didn't have time to transfer my stuff to another room to shower or wait for a plumber cause I had to be at school. I asked to talk to the owner and left my number. He never called. I called repeatedly for 3 days til I got a hold of him. When I did he offered me a free stay but no refunds cause "I already used his room". That's like renting a room with no bed or tv. He continued to cut me off and say it's not his problem. He is the rudest person I have ever spoken to. I've also been in contact with Motel 6 but they are being just as unprofessional. I will never stay at a motel 6 again. F this place and I hope the owner DIAF

Run for your life from this place. The owner/operator of this dump deserves all the bad press he can get. He takes people's money and gives them worse than nothing (buckets of nastiness) in return. He should have been shut down years ago.

dirty, no soap desk clerk said "what does it matter?". dirty blankets, no soap, no wash cloths, plaster falling off bathroom walls, bath too discusting to shower in.....and they dont care! When i complained i was told what does it matter? if i wasnt so tired that night i would have packed up everything and left.

STAY FAR WAY FROM THIS PLACE AND ROOM 125

Call first for actual price; ask if water is clear!. Advertised online price more than 20 dollars more than actual price; dirty carpet, pillows hard.

So I realize that this place falls within what would qualify as the economy class of hotels. I don?t necessarily expect little amenities such as shampoo and lotion. But for goodness sake, the only reason you spend between 50 to 200 bucks a night just to lie down somewhere away from home is to get two basics: a place to sleep and a place to wash. Not a gym, a spa, and a massage?just what falls under the legal category of what can be assumed by ?any reasonable person. The bathroom had huge chunks pulled out of the walls in two or three places. Even in the roachiest motels, they can bother to apply a little plaster. Brace yourself: some kind of thick, dark brown, organic matter was smeared above the bases of the bathroom walls. Upon close inspection (yes, this was as disgusting as it sounds and I did so only to be sure I was giving an accurate report to management), it appeared to be long-dried, er, monthly discharge. When I tried to bathe the next morning, the water came out murky brown. That meant taking the UNbath, showering in dirt, and filling my hair with dirt and who knows what else. Water hissed from the UNshower (did you guess? no shower head!) in a pathetic spray with no real pressure or volume. Finally, the water?such as it was?did not drain.

When told that some kind of a rebate was in order, as is customary when one has not received satisfactory service or been compensated for what was paid for, the desk clerk retorted, ?Whatever. Whatever you say, we give no refund.?

He then turned and sat at the desk with a sudden engrossment of paperwork, trying to make a great show of not bothering to look at me any longer. I was apparently not even worthy of completing checkout and receiving the key.
