A gem of a salon right in Beaverton. I have been to West End Salon a couple of times since moving to Beaverton. My stylist, Dainne does an amazing job on my hair every time. It is really difficult to find a hairdresser that knows how to manage curly hair. Dianne takes her time and really makes you feel welcome. If you are looking for someone that knows how to work with all hair types- especially curly hair- go see Dianne. Also- I am always offered my choice of beverages as well as chocolates while at the salon which is a nice plus. On my last visit, my husband came along since he needed his hair cut as well. It turned out that the salon’s owner was a barber and was able to cut my husband’s hair. My husband was so impressed which rarely happens, that he even got a straight razor shave. My husband even could not stop talking about how clean and comfortable the salon was. The stylists are very accommodating and do accept walk-ins (my husband was a walk-in.) My husband and I are hooked---we have found a salon that we can both go to and be happy at!!! Thank you West End Salon!!!!

affordable, quality barbering services. I visited the salon for the first time and I got my hair cut by Ayman. I figured out quickly that he has a lot of experience. He told me that he has 16 years of barbering experience and he offers full barbering services like the straight razor shave and hair cuts with neck shaves. I was excited to try the straight razor shave but it was my first time to get this service done in a salon. It was an amazing experience and it felt good. Ayman is quite the professional and he has very reasonable prices with high quality haircuts and shaves. If you want a real mens haircut, definitely go check out West End Salon. It will be worth your time and you can thank me later.

Family friendly hair salon. I have been going to this salon for only the past three months. I was always greeted and enjoyed my services. My last visit was a little different though- I learned that the salon was under new management- the salon looked very clean. The salon also has great parking right up front and I was always offered my choice of beverages (water, coffee, tea, etc.). While I was getting my hair cut, the owner introduced himself to me. He is a barber and very friendly and welcoming. Considering the salon has a “family style” feel, I will be bringing my husband and kids here for haircuts as well. I will definitely be coming back- and it doesn’t hurt that the salon is very close to my home.

Dirty Salon. I wouldn't expect that anybody receive good service or be respected as a client at West End Salon. The stylists do a careless job, and discuss their clients business after they leave. The haircut I received was uneven and the highlights were done with bleached spots at the roots. I didn't notice anybody disinfecting their tools after their client. So, if you want the previous person's germs on your head, this is the perfect opportunity to get them. I wouldn't take a risk on getting any sort of waxing service either, because of the same cross-contamination issue. Nobody changes the wooden stick after each application, and the body fluids of the previous clients are in the wax that will be used on you, if you ask for the service. I also wanted to say that the sinks are VERY DIRTY, but this is would be only a small addition to the all of above.

avoid. My mom has been coming to this salon for years and has had to put up with the owners kids also ,she doesnt have the heart to go anywhere else because the owner thinks she enjoys them But the truth is she is irritated by it leaving with wet hair all the time and the sets not looking good later. We also think maybe its time to move on!

weat end salon. well i went to this salon and all i have to say is i had a bad expierience with the service was very bad the owners kids were their the whole time i was their, he owners kids were screaming and running around the salon it was very disturbing when i first got their i had no where to sit cuz the kids toys were all over the place and the floor had toys all over i almost tripped on them a law suite waiting to happen! So i dont recommend the place bad service/and VERY DIRTY someone needs to call the stateboard about this one maybe it will be me.
