They were friendly on the phone when we called to place our order. We did the car side to go pickup, when we arrived almost as soon as we parked he came outside with our food. Was very polite (: to top it off, the food was super awesome even though it was a to go order(:

The Orange Chicken from Heck. Yes, one shouldn't expect fine dining from Applebee's. And yes, the chicken fried chicken was satisfactory enough, as were the mashed potatoes and the steamed broccoli.

However, I ordered the orange chicken bowl - in the pasta section. It was supposed to be orange-glazed chicken on, apparently, a bed of rice with vegetables. However, what it seemed like was that someone took orange-peel flavor concentrate and poured the entire bottle into the rice. The rice was swimming in concentrated orange goo. It was something so terrible and horrible, I had to stare at it sadly. The significant other tried it and made a face of suffering. The orange concentrated goo flavor -- the concentrated orange goo syrup - still echoes in my my mind.

The service was decent, which is why I gave it that extra star. The food will be served to you - but it will possibly inspire your gag reflex. Stick with mashed potatoes if you go.

Big portions of mainstream American fare, served up in a convivial, family atmosphere.. In Short
A low-key, friendly environment attracts plenty of families to this reliable chain. Kids in the big booths--often clutching free balloons and crayons--usually outnumber adults sitting at the bar. The menu offers filling American fare with no surprises, from mozzarella sticks and nachos to rollups and burgers. Entrees include steaks, fajitas and main dish salads. The calorie-conscious can select from a list of Weight Watchers-inspired dishes like mesquite chicken salad and grilled tilapia with mango salsa.

Ok food, nice relaxed atmosphere. The atmosphere here is great - relaxed and casual, and the service has always been quite good. The food quality is a bit lacking, and with my last dish they seemed to try to cover up the lack of taste with too much cheese. But, I can't complain too much for the price they charge.

Excellent Tuscan shrimp salad. Our family shared last evening together before putting my nephew on a plane for IRAQ. Applebees was his choice for dinner. Everyone's food was delicious and served quickly. I tried a new entree, the Tuscan Shrimp Salad, it was extremely good and very filling. The choc cake w/pudding filling and vanilla ice cream also seemed to be a favorite with half our party. Enjoyable evening and the prices were worth the quality of the food.

Menu. There menu lacks alot, and so does the taste of the food. The best thing i can say is that the apetizers are good. And yes i know i butchered the spelling of apetizers.
