Editorial Review for Reo's Ribs – by Citysearch Editors

In Short
This mobile-home-look-alike sports bare bones furniture and a linoleum floor. Still, it's a popular barbecue joint. The weekend crowd gravitates to the parking lot seating area under two makeshift tents. Beef brisket, not ribs, shines the brightest here. Shredded pieces of beef bathed in tangy barbecue sauce tumble from an open hoagie bun. Crispy thin fries are also popular: It's like savoring McDonald's fries when they were still cooked in oil and beef tallow.

User Reviews for Reo's Ribs

2 Star Rating: Below Average

The food here was below average. The Ribs themselves had very little meat on the bone. Not to mention the meat was very hard to get off the bone and when you did it was dry. The BBQ sauce did not have a good flavor or good choices of flavors. (Applebees and Chili's is better) Sides were nothing great, I have a wife who is not picky about very many things but she did not like any of the sides, corn, beans or the cornbread. It is expensive and just not worth the stomach ache.

Pros: Pictures of his family

Cons: flavor of the food, dirty, value

When you walk in the door you see a semi-collage of pictures of Reo and his family. I think he is Snoop Dogg's uncle as I recall, but anyway. I am here to review the food, right. I love the candied yams, the best I have ever eaten the brisket is tasty and the sides are fine. I believe that because it is no frills the people below reviewed as poor. Looks aren't everything.
