If Wifes Happy Then Im happy. My wife went to get her hair done by Kim and came back extremely happy. Plus I like it too!! They did a great job on the style and color. I think my wife has found a new home for her hair!!
Very very disappointing!.
My friend and I decided to do walk-in pedicures after seeing the awesome reviews for this salon. We were however, thoroughly disappointed by the service we received.
First, the nail technician actually skipped buffing and filing the nails on my big toes, and barely trimmed my cuticles.
Second, her polish job was very uneven, and I can see the layers of polish she applied, and where she missed large areas of my nails. She also didn't clean up the polish she left on my toes themselves, something I had to do when I got home.
Third, the salon says they offer student discounts, and 10% off for first time clients, but neither applied to pedicures, which I thought was shifty.
After spending $25 each, I felt that no tip was warranted.
Now, three days later, I have a strange red rash on the side of my foot, and am wondering if it came from this place...…
Best Nail Technician by FAR!.
I wasn't looking for a new salon. Kevin actually took me because my other salon was booked full. This was the best experience with acrylic nails that I have ever had. Since that time I have been
going to Kevin for about 2 1/2 years and his nails are the best. They never have problems, and I have to admit--I am hard on my nails.
I frequently have people ask me where I get my nails done because they like mine so much.
Kim also gives the best pedicure that I have ever had. She massages the legs so well that I feel like I have had a whole body massage! It is such a relaxing feeling and of course, the pedicure looks very professional and stays looking that way for a long time! I have recommended this salon to all my friends and family. Don't hesitate to use this salon. Sue P…
I don't get it.. I was looking for a new nail shop to try out and chose to try U4EA because of the glowing reviews here. I'm sure I visited the wrong salon, cuz I don't see how anyone could rave about where I went. First, it's tucked back inside a strip mall way back from the street with a sign that simply says "salon". I arrived for my pedicure and full set and sat with Kim, who is nice but a bit pushy. As I surveyed the layer of dust and random objects laying around, Kim strapped on a pair of BLACK surgical gloves (weird). She did give me an excellent, very thorough pedicure. Next I went to Kevin's station for my full set (that is, after he went outside and smoked while I waited...p-ew). The set looks nice but he was VERY rough and hurried and he used a chemical that made my skin burn under the nail (never had THAT happen before). I noticed a few days later that there's a gap between my natural nail and the acrylic where particles/moisture can get in (the mortal sin of fake nails). He also charged me for French tips which I didn't receive (didn't realize this until after I left). I had planned to get Solar, but he told me it would cost $40 or $45! Not sure how they can justify that much for Solar. He also started doing round corners and when I told him I wanted square instead he said I "should have told him that earlier"...bullshit, you should ASK the client before you start...this is basic, especially because girls my age almost always get square corners. I am not at all sure that they clean the metal instruments between clients. Won't be returning and can't recommend it.…
Surprisingly good cut, amazingly unproffessional.
When I walked in I was a little apprehensive from the start, the interior was very unclean and not at all sure how they are passing inspections. Kim did not "wash" my hair, but began spraying it
down with water (!!!!), and asked, "how do you want me to cut your hair"-- kiss of death for a stylist, ask anything, but do not ask me how to cut my hair, ask me what I am looking for what I like, anything but that... Filthy, filthy, almost zero product on station aside from something resembling dippity do on her station, the floor and everything in eyesight needed cleaned. Decor is worn/ stations appear mis matched, and all together hodgpodge. I sat not knowing if I should give in to my fear to get out of there, but hey, it's only hair right?..
That being said, Kim is wicked good with the razor, I had to get over the fact she seemed "put out I asked for it washed"--btw tacked on $5 for that little service.. She did dry it, and flat ironed, zero product but it did speak to the hair cut because it looked great-- mousse and gell cover a multiple of sins..
So I will say this, am I going back? I doubt it on principle, but if you arent' afraid of dirt, and aren't looking for a real warm, pampering, relaxing environment? Then give it a shot.. BE AWARE... :-)
BTW--used the AC if you have it !!! A/C constituted open doors, and flies all over, while I bathed in my own sweat.…
