HONEST MECHANICS. I'm new to town and found Bassitt Auto Co by searching for auto repair near my zip code and happened on their website. They were honest and professional and explained the repairs my car needed in an easy to understand way (yeah! I'm a car dummy). I disagree with the review below; I found their rates very competitive--they do charge more to figure out what is wrong with the car and then charge a lesser rate to fix it, but to me that's like going to the doctor--he charges you to diagnose your illness, and then you pay to get it fixed . I highly recommend this shop for mechanic work.…
High Labor. Charged me over $600 to replace a wiring harness. It only ended up fixing part of my problems. Later, when I was able to get into my normal mechanic. I found out he charged me 4 times more for the part than ti should have cost him. Nice fancy place. Big fancy price tag. I will never go back…

I think that people who pick a mechanic (or any service company) based on price alone are always disappointed because they always go to the cheapest place! Bassitt Auto is not "cheap", instead they
are the best value for the money you spend in my opinion.
Their mechanics are allows willing to talk to you and explain any issues. They stand behind their work 100%. Their waiting room is spotless and is a beautiful throwback to a 50's diner with free sodas. They give you a FREE limo ride to work for crying out loud!
I love this place and although unexpected car repairs are never pleasant, Bassitt Auto makes it as painless as possible.…
Watch out - Be aware. We used Bassitt Auto to repair our windstar - engine light was on. They had it for a couple days, charged us $1000 and ended up doing nothing but flushing systems. Had it home three days, engine light back on. Stupidly took it back in, got it back, three days later, engine light came on. Had to go to another mechanic to have the problem fixed. They are also one of the highest labor rates in town.…
They know what they're doing. I have used this place for years, through several cars. They are great at finding and fixing problems, and especially good at explaining the problem. They also don't 'fix' things that aren't broken. They may be a little spendy, but you get what you pay for. The limo ride to work is pretty fun, too.…
