Horrible apartments, look elsewhere. I have lived here for over two years now and at first I never had a problem here, I actually quite liked it, for apartment living. Since the new management has taken over, I've been told they has my rent check and then days later recieved an eviction notice. I had called because my check hadn't cleared and they told me not to worry about it, then I recieved notice and it was time to worry about it. I've gotten notice for work on the building and then told it was on a certain day, so I arranged for my dog to be put away, then they called and told me they were entering my apartment in a half an hour on a day that was not scheduled. And I recieved a package in the mail and it got delivered to the office, I had a notice in my mail box and when I went to the office to retrieve it they had lost it and told me they never recieved it. I called the company and had them re-send my package and magically when I went to pick it up a second time, they had both of them. These apartments are horrible and the management needs to learn how to do their job correctly or hire new. I will not renew a lease here and I advise everyone else to not even sign one here. Plus, when someone parks in your spot, they don't tow it. All they do is put a note on the car and you have to hopefully get lucky enough to find a visitor parking because there are so few here and if not park on the street. Half the time the lights in the parking lot are off so there is little to now lighting in the lot and they're constantly letting the water run from the complexes for something or other and the tenents pay for it!  View Less View More

Overlook (THE TENANTS) at Murray Hill.. STAY AWAY! I was there for only three months and these people entered my apartment (and everybody elses in my building) with 24 notices (only given about 12 hours ahead of time, by the way) at least eight times. They hired some incompetent foreign work crew to do some electrical job that they never actually seemed to fix. I was actually in my apartment when the work crew just unlocked my front door and walked right in without even knocking. I asked management when this eternal repair job was going to end and they said as long as it takes. They said that they could enter my apartment as many times as they wanted. (I had a dog in the apartment and would have to crate him when I went to work whenever I got one of these "Notice of Entry" letters and I began to resent having to do that for what seemed like all the time during my last month there). I don't mind repair work but hell, it was neverending. My lease actually ran out before they fixed the problem. They could still be trying to fix it for all I know.

Also, there's no air conditioning. And no window air conditioners are allowed to be put in by the tenants. The air conditioners hanging out of the window apparently ruin the appearance of the place. But, of course, that doesn't stop the apartment management office from using a window air conditioner! Talk about hypocrites! Let the tenants suffer, but not the office workers.

After the lease was over, I left that place and went to a bigger apartment in Fishers Landing that had a fireplace, and in-apartment washer and dryer for $150 less a month! And they allowed window air conditioners!

So to wrap - The Overlook at Murray Hill mainly "overlooks" its tenants.  View Less
