Murrayhill Eye Care

Wonderful people & excellent care. I recently changed insurance carriers which meant I had to find a new eye doctor. Murrayhill Eye Care is in my neighborhood so I decided to give it a try. The minute I walked in the door, I was greated with a big smile and cheerful hello. The receptionist wasn't able to find my insurance coverage information but cheerfully started making calls trying to get the information. She suggested I look at frames in the meantime. She verified my insurance and we set up an appointment. On the day of my appointment, I was again greeted as I came in the door and was almost immediately taken into a room where testing my eyes began with a peripheral vision test and retinal scan. Once that was complete, I was taken to the vision exam room and the doctor came in apologizing for keeping me waiting (it was about 3 minutes!!!) She asked me questions about my general health, activities, working environment and medications. Once she had all that out of the way, she gave me the most thorough eye exam I have ever had. I have a severe astigmatism and she spent extra time making sure the correction was right. I went to the lobby to select my frames and was immediately joined by one of the staff who spent nearly 30 minutes with me cheerfully picking out frames for me to try. She was a joy to work with. I'm wearing my new glasses and am thrilled with the exceptional vision correction the doctor was able to achieve for me (20/25) which is the best I've ever had! Dr. Wallace is amazing and the entire staff are caring and patient. The atmosphere is open and pleasant. Great Company and Great Doctors. My husband is diabetic and has several issues with his eyes. We had been to 2 other Dr's, but they were not able to find any problems. We went to Murrayhill and Dr. Wallace saw my husband. Within an hour she had an appointment with a specialist for that afternoon, as my husband was losing his sight. His vessels were breaking. We are so thankful for Dr. Wallace and the

office staff. We have been going back for several years and the staff is very nice and service is great.
