O.K. so the truth is I'm a semi - OCD
engineer. I researched LASIK did a personal cost benifit analysis and decided LASIK was for me. Now I needed to find the right doctor. The first thing I did was
call a wide variety of eye doctors, optho this and that and created a list. Then I did research on every doctor / clinic on that list and found the perhaps most qualified doctor in the U.S. was within 15 miles of my house. Lucky me.
The entire process was explained very clearly from start to finish, I felt comfortable every step of the way. The surgery was completely painless for me and over faster then I can get a cup of coffee on a Saturday, to me the techno geek, truly remarkable.
The bottom line is that 8 days after the surgery I see better then I ever did with glasses on. This will sound cliche but my only disappointment is that I waited so long to get it done.

Best thing I ever did for myself!.
I had Lasik just 4 days ago, and I wish I had done it a long time ago. Dr. Teplick and staff were awesome, professional, friendly (funny!) and so easy to work with. But I must admit, the very best
part was sitting up after the procedure and SEEING the faces of the nurses, walking out and seeing the faces of my family - no glasses or contacts needed! I went from -850 to 20/20 in less than 24 hours. It was not painful or scary, and following a 4 hour nap I had no soreness in my eyes.
I highly recommend Dr. Teplick and staff for Lasik, both for the results and the process of getting to that point.…
