Great staff, cheap owners. I have been a member of Club Fit for over 3 years. The staff- from personal trainers to group fitness instructors to the Kid Watch supervisors is super. Very welcoming and friendly. The location is close to where I live, so it's convenient.

Since the weather has warmed up, the building has been VERY hot- uncomfortably hot. Even at 8:30, 9am, the air is very humid and still. We have been asking for a fan in the group exercise area and were told that the owner was in the process of getting one. In the meantime, a member brought an oscillating fan from home. She kind of got in trouble for that! The owner also said that the thermostat had been lowered 2 degrees. Big whoop. We kept asking about the fan.

Well, folks, today we received our fan. The thing was, I kid you not, less than 12 inches in diameter. It was more like 6-8 inches across and weighed maybe a pound or two at the most. It was so ridiculous it was funny- until class started and I was ready to black out within minutes.

I feel that if you are so focused on nickel and diming everything you become miserly. That is how I perceive the owner of Club Fit. We're not asking for new stationary bikes (although those are falling apart and need to be replaced) or for a complimentary towel (those were eliminated over a year ago). We just want a small level of physical comfort while we're exercising.

I'm going out today and buying a good, solid turbo fan at the hardware store and will just bring it in during group exercise classes. If I get in trouble I'll post again!
