The first Marriott hotel opened in 1957, and has since expanded to several different brands, with Courtyard serving business travelers. In addition to free daily newspaper delivery, media-equipped meeting rooms and buffet breakfasts in their on-site restaurant, most locations also offer The Market--a 24-hour shop for food and refreshments. Rooms include well-lit work spaces, ergonomic desk chairs, separate sitting areas and free high-speed Internet (participating locations). The front desk offers faxing, copying and printing services.

Excellent Staff. This Courtyard provided my friends and family with a wonderful experience. We had a block of rooms reserved for our wedding guests here. Everything was perfect; all of our friends and family had great things to say about the hotel. The rooms were very clean and in good condition. The kids all enjoyed the pool area. But the best part of this hotel is the staff they were helpful to all of our guests in shuttling them around town, making sure everything was perfect in the rooms. They pre-delivered our thank you gifts to all of our friend?s and family?s rooms. It was one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had.

Friendliest spot in town!. The courtyard staff here is always extremely nice and considerate. I have family come to visit occassionally, and they are always so helpful when it comes to providing my family with directions, reccomendations, and overall wonderful hospitality. Oh, and stay for the breakfast! It's a full breakfast buffet with a magnificent chef on duty to make delicious omlets and/or HUGE waffles for only $10. You're definitely not going to be able to find a better deal! Check them out!

Almost ruined our wedding!. We had reserved a block of 27 rooms for our wedding party a year in advance. On the eve of our wedding the Courtyard Marriott Sunnybrook started giving away rooms that we had reserved, confirmed, and paid for. At nearly midnight before our wedding day, they called us when it became clear that our whole wedding party would show up, and that some would be without rooms, since they had resold them. Some of the bridesmaids had to be shipped to a substandard motel, since their reservation had not been honored.

To make matters worse, after going over the final bill with them, they still managed to overcharge us by enough to overdraft our bank account. They have refused to compensate us for this. Avoid this hotel. Do not trust them with your money or with your special event. Do not even trust them to honor your reservations.
