Not so friendly shoe department. The two girls that were in the shoe department were not very cust service oriented. They acted like I wasn't even there and were sort of stuck up at times...
Rude Employees, Messy, Poor Service!!!.
This was my first visit and it was terrible! I left feeling poorly treated.
First of all, the store was mess. I came specifically for shoes, and sure they had a bunch but they were haphazardly placed in piles on the shelves. It looked like a drunk garage sale. It was so hard to shop in all the disorder.
Eventually I found the shoes I wanted. However the sizing was off and so they fit both my feet differently. I went to the front to ask the cashier a question. I stood there at one of the two registers. One associate was available but ignored me. I thought maybe she wasn't ready yet so I waited until she called me up. Then a couple walked right by me and started to check out at register I was patiently waiting for! All the while, a security LP guard stood there watching all of this and didn't say anything. (I thought they were suppose to be focused and aware!)
So anyways, I let it go and continue to wait. I have to say It was the longest wait Ive ever had for a store that wasn't even busy!! (It was in the middle of a weekday at 4pm) There were 3 cashiers but they must've all been in training because they were taking there sweet precious time. Finally the couple that cut in front of me left. SO I walked up and put the shoes down to ask a question. ALL of a sudden the security guard rushed towards me! He says "sorry, you weren't next in line."
Oh really?? I thought! I told him the couple just cut in front of me and I was waiting there the whole time. All I had was a question.
He said I wasn't behind the blue "line starts here" sign. Which I didn't even know was there, plus when I came to the registers no one was even around! blue sign or not! And since when did this blue sign rule become "do or die"? So ridiculous. What ever happened to customer service and the customer is always right???
So the security guard backed off and I asked the lady my question. Remind you, I am a very friendly smiley person, and I expect to be treated nicely back. But this young lady was completely rude and inconsiderate. I wish I had gotten her name. She answered my question but with the worst attitude and acted like I was stupid for even asking. I smiled politely and she just looked right back at me like I just ran over her cat!
I left the counter, threw the shoes back and left. THIS is the MOST UNFRIENDLY store Ive ever experienced. I was a new Customers and I was treated very POORLY. I will NEVER go back.
Nordstrom's quality brand-name clothes at bargain-basement prices..
Home to Nordstrom's overstock and occasional factory irregulars, the Rack draws fans of the upscale department store with brand-name apparel (DKNY, Kenneth Cole, Lucky Brand) that is as much as 75 percent off original retail prices. Shoppers snatch up clothing, home accessories and bath products, but the ever-changing shoe selection is a big draw: Customers try on shoes from the racks, then head to a counter where a salesperson retrieves the mates.
