fun tube hill
by Chairil
I went to Ski Bowl to check out the tube hill. At $15, it's rather pricey, but the plus side is that there is a tow rope up the first hill that will tow you and your tube to the top. The lines can get long for the tow, but at the end of the day when you're tired and not ready to call it quits yet, it's worth waiting. The steeper extreme hill farther up doesn't have a tow line, unfortunately, but the slope is longer and faster and therefore quite fun. It gets crowded here on weekends and holidays, but if you get there early enough you can enjoy some time on the hill without the large crowds.
