Should have seen the SIGNS!!!! 1st time I have ever sent food back and refused to eat it. Microwaved Dinners. We had heard good things along time ago about this place so thought why not. When we walked in we were greeted and promplty seated wherever we wanted since every seat was available..(1st SIGN) We were given the typical chips and salsa and almost OD'd on the salt in the salsa. I point this out to the waiter who explained, "This is special receipe and some customers like the salt." So I see the special, My favorite, Chili Relleno's. Well I order the Special and My wife orders the shredded beef enchiladas. Our waiter returns moments later and informs me they are out of the special. It is only 330pm on a saturday, how can you already be out? I ask. Our waiter replies, "We make our Chili Rellenos on Wednesday and we just sold out last night." (2nd SIGN) So I figure I wil play it safe. The chips are great so the Nachos must be better. I order a Steak Nachos and a Steak taco.. So as my wife and I are eating our chips we hear a familiar sounding Beeeep Beeeep Beeep...We look at each other and start laughing.... Yep..That had to be a microwave. About 5 minutes pass and our food shows up. Now my wifes actually looked ok and she dug right in.. I looked at my taco and asked how could this possibly be messed up let alone edible. It was a warm soft corn tortilla with sometype of meat, tannish-brown cabbage and cilantro piled in the middle. I smell this thing and you could tell it was Microwaved meat. I tried one bite of the meat and that was it.. I could not do it.. Well at least I have the nachos...Wrong...I get a plate of chips layered with the unknown meat, the salty salsa, sliced jalapenos, a scoop of runny sour cream and brownish guacamole. Our waiter shows up and ask how everything is. I asked him if the steak was Microwaved. He assures me it was not..He said the steak was cooked in a WOK and only Microwaved to melt the cheese. WHAT CHEESE??? He appologizes and offers a discount on our meal. I give him his food back and tell him were done. WOW..

The Dutch make better Mexican than this!. Is it possible to give this place less than one star? Beyond what other users commented on regarding the use of the microwave, the temperature, lack of seasoning and overall quality of the food; let me add that the health inspector would love to observe the server passing back and forth between the video poker and restaurant areas, handling money and food and NEVER washing her hands! We should have followed our instincts and walked out when we saw that we were the only ones there, or when we heard the microwave going off repeatedly, or when we saw the oven only being used to warm plates. If not then, possibly we should have known better when we found it necessary to consume 3/4 of the jar of salsa with the meal. Save yourself the time and money, DON'T even think of going here!

Do NOT go here!. This is not an authentic or even a chain "Mexican" food place. The "food" comes out of cans, not seasoned AT ALL, and tastes like rubber and/or garbage. We had a coupon here (the ONLY reason why we went), and should've walked out immediately when we noticed that we were the only people going into the restaurant for food (there's a lottery room). The BEST thing of the night was hearing our food being heated up in the microwave. We could not stop laughing. My husband ordered the steak fajitas (which are supposed to come out sizzling right?), and they arrived lukewarm and chewy. His entire plate was heated in the microwave, including the shredded lettuce, sour cream, and guacamole. Most disgusting sight ever. My "taco" wasn't even warm. The black beans had just come out of the can. I can't believe we ate there. We ended up stopping at Taco Bell on the way home for more "authentic" Mexican food.
