Make sure your equipment words before you leave the store. I suggest you ask for John or make sure all your equipment works before you leave. When I returned from my snow shoe trip, I believe it was the owner who laughed at my comments about how the right snow shoe kept falling off. I wear top of the line snow shoes and yet the owner just said I must not have secured the strap, and the fact that he wouldn't even give a discount or anything really left me with a bad impression of this business.

Work with John, he seems to be at aware of the fact that the right size matters. I hope after talking with him I will have a reimbursement because I don't want my family to rent here again, its a pain to go on a trip and not be able to use the rented equipment. I do suggest renting at another place but if you have to rent here make sure the equipment works, that you can get in and out and they ski shoe - stays on your feet.…
