We moved in for the "free rent" and "$100 deposit". At first my fiance' had to move in by herself until I could clear up an old apartment debt I didn't know I had. When she got there she was eaten alive by fleas. It took me coming in furious for them to finally do something about it almost 2 weeks after it started! She had welts the size of golf balls! I think I need to go to small claims court against our apartment complex. They are trying to charge us $100 late fee for the past two months. The rent is due on the 1st but the late fee isn't given as long as you pay by midnight on the 4rth. Well we had the rent in the box by 11:30 PM on 4/4/2012 and 5/4/2012. A printed out ledger from the apartments shows they cashed our money orders on the 5th both times, which would show any judge that we obviously more than likely had them in by the 4th. Not to mention I have paperwork from a pay-day loan I took out to avoid a late fee last month. I get resident emails, but the landlord is refusing to talk to me because she says I haven't signed the final lease paper that her assistant was suppose to give to me 2 months ago when she told me I was approved, could move in, and had me sign a paper saying I could get mail here. This is ridiculous. Should I contact Trinity or just sue? It's pretty obvious from the paper trail that we paid the rent before midnight both times.…
THE WORST PLACE TO LIVE IN GRESHAM. when i first moved to the groves i thought it was a nice place to live, but after only a month or so everything changed. i was paying $665.00 a monthe plus 40% of the water, sewer and garbage, they had to be 2 seperate payments couldnt combine them. so my first water bill was $3.43 and i wasn't about to pay for a moneyorder for $3.43 and it came in the middle of the month so i was just going to wait for the next bil to come to pay it and the person i spoke with in the office said it was fine, well they got a new property manager and the new one sent me a notice to quit for only $3.43. and lets not for get about the maintence. they sucked, couldnt trust them. one of them broke into my apartment and tryed to sent it on fire because i knew he was dealing drugs out of one of the vacant apartments and i said something about it and thats what i got. no one believed me. so yea i do not recomend living here.…
Worst place to live in Gresham.
This place is horrible!!! The amount they charge for rent you would think you would be living in the Ritz instead we share our apartments with ants. You can complain everyday and everyday they act
shocked like this is the first time there hearing about a problem but never do anything about it.
They constantly change managers here and one is nastier than the next and still nothing gets done. We lost our storage closets when they put in stackable washer/dryers which are so small that it takes 3 loads to do a regular size wash.
And every time you renew your lease the rent goes up approxiametly $60. When I moved in here 2 years ago I was paying $600 with water, sewer and garbage paid. Now I pay $ 735 and I have to pay water, sewer and garbage. I also found out that this company Trinity properties owns Holly Ridge who also has gotten horrible reviews.
So don't move here unless you have no where else to go. This place should be the last resort for anyone to live. Cars like Hondas and Toyota's get stolen here a lot too.…
