Great Food & Very Friendly Staff. While visiting my daughter in Lake Oswego, I was hungry for Chinese Food so we decided to try Wanfu since it was in the neighborhood. My daughter wanted to try the pot stickers and we were glad she did! They were delicious. The sweet and sour chicken was just like I like it: white meat with a thin crisp breading. Our hostess was extremely friendly and efficient. She kept our water glasses and tea pot full. We'll be back!  View Less View More

Excellent Takeout Tonight. It's been a long time since we'd eaten food from Wanfu. We were very pleasantly surprised at how good it was. The Sesame Chicken was made with chicken breast and was excellent. Everything was fresh and delicious. They don't use MSG, which I prefer, and their potstickers are the best in town. I'm very happy the smoke from the bar doesn't waft over like it used to. We will return soon to dine in.  View Less View More

Fantastic shrimp fried rice!. We are another Lake Oswego family who are fans of Wanfu! We love calling in for a take-out meal, which is always prepared exactly as ordered and always high quality! We have several favorites on the menu, including shrimp fried rice, butterflied shrimp (appetizer), lemon chicken, cashew chicken, and several others. The taste and quality of their dishes have always been top notch and we have never been disappointed. We have been going here for 20 years. Actually, we celebrated buying our LO house 20+ years ago by going out to dinner at this local favorite!  View Less View More

Horrible buffett. We were excited to try the buffet at Wanfu however we were very disappointed in the choices on the buffett. When we sat down to eat the food we were ever more disappointed in how bland and COLD the food was.

Also, the service was horrible the waitress/owner kept disappearing. We do not recommend this restruant's buffett.  View Less

Same great food since they opened 20 years ago. Having lived in L.O. since 1980 I?ve dined at Wanfu since they opened. As years gone by, it?s been the same owner and the same great food, nothing else I've tried can compare since I'm used to their food. The posticker is the best, General Tso Chicken is their signature dish. The service is friendly and helpful as always, some of the wait staff has been there for 10+ years and even watched my children grow up and I think of them as family.

After being a loyal customer for 20+ years and reading the reviews that are on here I felt the need to post this. During the recent years, Wanfu business has declined greatly, it?s no longer busy or having to wait for a table like you had to 10 years ago. This is of course understandable with the change in economy and competition from restaurants that has great financial backing.

Yes I admit Wanfu needs a little remodel but what can you do when it?s a small independent family owned restaurant? My Grandparents used to own a little diner in Seattle and I worked there when I was a teen and learned the value of money and I also saw their struggles trying to stay a float when competition like chains moved in. So I know first hand the ups and downs of owning an independent restaurant. I truly love this place, I enjoy the family environment, the familiar wait staff and most importantly the same great traditional Chinese food since they?ve opened. Yes they are a lot less busy vs. other restaurants but don?t be put off by it, there is absolutely nothing wrong with this restaurant.  View Less
