If you are looking for a salon, I highly recommend Salon Lavonne! David brought my hair back to life 4 years ago and has been working magic on it ever since. His knowledge about the color and products he uses on my hair is exceptional and I can guarantee your hair will never feel or look better. His level of professionalism and the way he welcomes you into his chair go above and beyond expectations! Do yourself a favor, give David a call if you are looking for a new stylist. Your hair will thank you.

NIKI IS THE BEST!! I USED TO LOVE THIS PLACE, my husband and I have been clients for over ten years. NIKI is amazing!! BUT, on Tuesday evening we were both there for haircuts and a very disturbing thing happened, one of the other stylist made a complete fool of himself by first, saying we were not clients, OMG TEN YEARS!!! and then proceeding to make a total fool of himself by confronting our favorite stylist in a very bizarre fashion, I was made very uncomfortable and insulted by his comments, very rude and unprofessional, I believe his name as David. I WILL NOT GO BACK!!! Hopefully our stylist will move on to a more professional salon soon and we will definitely follow her!

Went to Salon Lavonne for many years.. Went to Salon Lavonne for many years. Sadly I had to discontinue, which I did not want to do as it was so convenient to my home. But one mistake after another forced my hand. The work got sloppy, appointments were written down incorrectly - I even got sent home with wet hair because she had written down the wrong service and didn't have time (although there was no other client waiting and a blow-out to finish my hair would have taken 10 minutes, and I was charged full price). It's a great place to go for the first few years, and then the interest in keeping you as a client wanes. Sadly I cannot recommend Salon Lavonne.

Monica Evenson is so great. She is fun to talk to , talented with color and gives a great hair-cut. I really don't have anything I don't like about her. The salon is clean, lively and you can have the beverage of your choice AND cookies, which I munch regularly. It is one of my favorite things to do for myself.

I always wait until the last minute. I always wait until the last minute to get my hair done, so my usual stylist in downtown Portland was not available. After looking online for something close, I noticed that most had given this salon 5 stars, so I decided to give it a try. I called to first ask if they had anyone who knew how to cut my hair type (thick and coarse). The receptionist was wonderful and told me about Silvana, a stylist with the same hair type. I was fortunate that she had a cancellation, so could fit me in. Once there, Silvana listened to what I wanted, or thought I wanted, but gave honest feedback about some of the styles I was considering. After the cut, she walked me through what was needed to style it. I have never had anyone take the time to do this. I would highly recommend Silvana to anyone looking for a new stylist. ****One thing to know, since each stylist there is independent they only take cash or check.

Love Carol Allgaier!. I have known Carol over 10 years now. She was the first person ever to do my hair. I worked with her at a salon in Albany for 11 years, and I am now making the hour long drive to her new salon. It's well worth the trip. The salon is beautiful too!

Carol is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I have seen her do amazing work for so long, and she has an ability to make her clients' hair dreams come true!

Also, If you love the Kardashian look like I do, Carol is the stylist for you! I have really curly, thick hair, and Carol is always able to make it look shiny, silky, and beautiful.

Shannon is my hero. I met Shannon over five years ago and I won't go anywhere else. I have unruly curly hair and Shannon knows just what to do with it! I have always kept it short, but Shannon has encouraged me to grow it out for the first time. She knows exactly what products Will keep it under control. Moroccan oil rocks! And so does Shannon! Thanks for making going to the salon a treat Shannon.

Shannon is Awesome!. Shannon Pettyjohn is the best stylist I have ever had!!! I have been going to her since 2002. She always listens to my requests and makes thoughtful suggestions to ensure that my hair looks the best it can. I receive many compliments on my hair and have trusted Shannon to style my hair for many special occasions over the years and I've never been disappointed. Not only is she the best stylist around, but she I always leave the salon in a better mood because Shannon is always cheerful and a riot to talk to! I would recommend her to anyone!!!

Niki Nolan. Niki is without a doubt the only stylist I have ever been to that has a passion for what she does...I have been going to her for over 10 years...everytime after seeing her I am continually getting compliments either on the color or cut...I put my hair in her "hands" and we decide together what to do...I hate to recommend her to highly as the already hard to get an appointment may become harder....
