Pay to park. Tiny kitchen with very limited menu. Local blue collar. Nice staff. Good hand pours. Never a cover.
Small venue but have heard some good music there. Michael has done well with the place and he is a great guy to boot.
New 505 Breakfast.
All of the changes new owner Micheal has made to the 505 have been wonderful. It is now clean, airy and friendly. It is a great place to play pool, grab a beer and hang out with our awesome locals.
While the 505 has never been known for its food I have to say the addition of breakfast has been horribly disappointing. We love to support our local establishments but will be unable to do so for their new catered breakfast. While the service was so very friendly, the food was down right the worst I have had.
After being unable to eat more than a few bites, my guest and I (who is a regular at the 505) had to leave both of our plates hardly touched. I am ashamed to admit, we went home and made ourselves breakfast.
The 505 is a great place for pool, a chat and a cold one but I strongly recommend going to Howells for breakfast where Jerry as always will whip you up the best breakfast in town.…
Great place, Great Job!. Perfect place to come as you are and get a great drink. As a woman, I felt safe and welcomed without being hit on. Thanks!
Great place for unpretentious good times!. The new proprietor, Michael Berman, has turned the 505 Tavern into a welcoming, fun bar to kick it in. At the end of Main Street next to a gritty paper mill, the 505 Tavern is low key and blue collar, but surprisingly hip with an eclectic mixture of local characters. Old school bar in a new light with very reasonable prices.…
