Dr Pollock is AMAZING!!.
We were adopted by a middle aged cat about 5 years ago. We have no history on him before he came to live with us.
We took him to paws & claws to get a check up and shots, then to have a bump removed off his side (it his skin) & dental work.
Then last winter he got REALLY sick with an URI. We couldn't get him to eat or drink, we were so worried! Dr Pollock was so wonderful! She is amazing with Roswell, and does a great job explaining what is going on, what she is trying to accomplish and what to look for at home.
She called multiple times to check on him.
He now has high BP and his kidneys are failing, so we have to give him sub-Q fluids. Dr Pollock calls and checks on him and us. And I never feel rushed - she spends as much time with us as WE need!
You can just tell how much she loves animals! She is amazing!! The techs and reception staff are great too - they always great Roswell, give him pets and hugs when he gets cling-y, and are great with the stressed out kitty's mom and dad!
I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND to anyone! They are slightly more than some chain vets, but the care and "service" you get is unmatchable - the extra couple (literally) dollars is worth it!!…
They donate services to Mult. Co. Animal Shelter. We rescued Ricardo our Chi from the pound. P and C had vetted him extensively for free to make him adoptable. They wrote very honest notes on his health and demeanor. I will always take him there to show my gratitude for the care they donated to him and other abandoned pets in the future.…
The best. Dr. Ken DeRiemer is an outstanding vet who not only encouraged us not to put our cat Bob to sleep when his pelvis was crushed (but not broken) but said the $1000+ surgery might not be necessary if we tended to Bob for a number of weeks (carried him outside and lifted his tail to potty for example) while he convalesced and let time rehabilitate his back end. His tail had to be amputated but that just gave him more character...Oh, and his name was bob BEFORE the amputation...since then I've been careful when I name my pets)). This was 1996 and bob lived another 10 happy healthy years.…
Response to Pug story. I haven't been to this clinic I was just checking reviews looking for a clinic to take my dogs to. I just wanted to respond to the guys comment about the pug. I think the veterinary clinic did the right thing in taking the dog away from you. It is because of this clinic that your poor dog has a chance at a happy life. They were right to not allow you to have your dog back because you already showed that you didn't really care about the dog in the first place. Shame on you for being a bad pet owner and for not teaching your children responsible pet ownership.…
Great staff and wonderful doctors!!!. I am new to the area and decided to take my new kittens to Paws and Claws by a recommendation. I found that everyone here was very easy to talk to and felt that the doctors really cared for my animals. Not to mention that everyone was very considerate of my financial situation! I will definetly be recommending Paws and Claws to my other friends in the area. As for the post about the pug there is no easy way out, what are you going to do when your kid gets sick for three days? Take resposnsibility for the challenges you take on in life. You should be thankful that this clinic saved your animals life! If you can't afford medical treatment for your pets than you shouldn't own a pet. That post just confirmed to me that I will be taking my pets to Paws and Claws for the rest of their lives.…
