lost reservation; slow service. I had scheduled our holiday dept. party at Hayden's well in advance, but when we showed up, there wasn't a reservation for our party.
Good Food, Great View, Nice Hotel. I've been here four times...inside and out next to the lake...Nice friendly people, and good food! Try the dessert sampler...it's a good share for two people and works out cheaper than two desserts. Used to be a lot better. I used to eat here all the time in the bar with my mom. Leigh waited on us. She was exceptional. The food was excellent. Prices good. I've gone there for special occasions, the last being Valentines 2007. Anyhow, the last 3 times I've been in there - the service was horrible whether in the bar or in the restaurant part. They weren't even busy. The process took forever. The food was mediocre to bad. My boyfriend ordered a small steak - but it was ridiculously small. Two bites and it was gone. We couldn't believe it. They got his side dish wrong. My pasta dish tasted like a doctored up Lean Cuisine. We won't go back. There are other good restaurants on the lake. This is really a shame.…
