Bugatti's is no longer run by Lydia Bugatti. She sold out and I would guess took the quality with her while she was at it. It is now riding on Lydia's and John's hard work but is awful in comparison to what they provided for their customers. I have eaten there several times since they changed hands and it is low class at best. If you want a good meal go to Cafe Mingo downtown in Portland or anywhere but here. They are nothing but a shell of the old place and their quality is very poor. Save your money and find a place where you can be satisfied with what you get and what you expect. Unless you want to spend big bucks for overdone pasta and linen with silverware wrapped inside pass on Bugatti's. Check the dates on the endorsements for Bugatti's as mid 2012 is when the great change for the worse began to happen and ones before that are worthless.

Reliably Fantastic. My husband and I enjoy a date night without the kids every month, and after trying many of Portland's wonderful restaurants, have chosen Bugatti's as our stand-by favorite. The staff, (many of which have served for 20 years) are always warm and friendly, the entrees continue to be fresh and delicious and you can't beat the value. Kudos to Lydia and her team and save a serving of Gamberetti for me!

Good Casual Neighborhood Choice. We've dined here a lot over the years, mostly it's been a good neighhborhood place. It's not fancy or pretentious and the prices are in-line. Food is consistent and most of the servers are good. Jeremy is currently one of the best. Good choice for casual dinners and conversation.

The best place to eat in the West Linn / Lake Oswego area. Bugatti's, where the prices are very good and so is the service. As for the food... when it comes to Italian-American food, Bugatti's can't be beat. The pasta is great--try the lamb ragu or the crab and basil. Or try the lamb loin, which is out of this world, and I don't think I have ever had a better Ceaser Salad. For years, reviewers have been raving about their tiramisu, but the apple tart is so good I refused to share it with my dinner companions. The only other place in the Portland area that has pasta this good is Ristorante Roma, which in my mind is the highest praise I can give.

Romantic and Affordable. We found this restaurant to be very romantic and were quite surprised to find it so affordable. I would highly recommend this for special occasions as well as everyday dining. We had to wait a few minutes for our reservation and passed the time having one of the bartender's specialty cocktails. Awesome food and service. We will be back!

Very Consistent Food, Great Service. We dine here often and live in the area...our service is great but we are regulars. Ask for Jeremy, he's awesome and will take great care of you!

Terrible Service. Had dinner at Bugattis in West Linn with some friends. The food was OK but defintitely not worth the price. And if you are paying high prices for food, you should at least get good service. We had the worst service I have ever encountered in a restaurant. The waitress was rude, incompetent, and unprofessional. We had to flag down other waitstaff when we wanted to order, to get refills on drinks, and to clear our table. When she realized we were having to get help from her coworkers, there were no apologies for her poor service - just excuses and attitude. We asked to speak to the manager on duty and he was pretty much worthless - could care less about his customers. I definitely recommend NOT going to this restaurant - unless you just feel the need to get treated badly and to waste money on mediocre food.

Dinner was excellent. I don't remember the selections we ate, but the main course meals were very good and the quiet atmosphere was nice for conversation.

The desserts were okay, the coffee was excellent, and my favorite, don't laugh, was the salad croutons!

The service was Excellent; friendly and attentive without being too much. The prices were higher than we expected, but we don't dine out enough to be objective, and i always think the price of gas is higher than we expect each time we get gas in our car.

Bugatti's is a place we'll return to.

Bad Service. Snooty restaurant. Parking is horrible. I got take out once, but this was the first time I dined in. I went in Portland casual attire. I took my family when they were here for Christmas. Had only been on other time. I look young, but I am 33 and I walked in with my 21 year old cousin and her boyfriend. My mom, aunt and uncle were still parking the car. About 4 or 5 waiters walked passed us and refused to acknowledge us. My mom, aunt and uncle walked in and they were immediately greeted. I don't know if age discrimination exists to the young, but this was definately a case of it. When my mom was greeted, they proceeded to tell us that there was an hour wait. If they had just told us this when I walked in, I could have saved my mom the hassle of parking as we weren't going to wait that long. I won't go back again. It is a family neighboorhood and the snooty attitude of this restaurant doesn't belong here.

Not great. We had been to this location about 3-4 months ago it was really good! Then we went back a month or so after that and it was just okay. Thought we would give it one more go and went last Sunday, it was noon dead (2 other tables and only 1 new one when we left), and downer music. Walked in 2 people behind counter just looked at us until I said 3 please. The chicken dumpling soup came out luke warm, sent it back and they heated in microwave and changed cups still just slightly warmer, the pizza was just okay not super. It was warm as well. Waiter was nice but not amazing. The place could be amazing if they could be consistant, change the environment to more upbeat place and better management.
