Great place. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. They're really helpful. Great selection of shoes. They'll offer to special order if it's not in stock or to find difficult items. Downtown Hillsboro is a neat place.

High prices, rude staff. I walked into Gimre's the other day after going to the Tuesday Market with my husband and was completely ignored. People were being greeted all around us and we got a few hard glances but that's it. I intended to purchase a pair of Dansko sandals that day but now I will never go back into that rude place, AND they're getting a bad review. What good does it do to be rude to ANY potential customer, especially a fellow Hillsboro business owner?

Update: I gave them another chance about a yearlater. I went in and found a pair of shoes I liked, but they didn't have my size. They offered to make a special order and said they would call me when the shoes arrived, OR if they were unable to order them. FOUR WEEKS LATER - I went back in and asked if my shoes had arrived. They had no idea who I was or what I had ordered (even though it was the SAME lady I had dealt with before!). So she got my name once again and she said she would place another order. This was six months ago (around Christmas) and I never did hear from her/them. I ended up getting the shoes off of Ebay instead.
