Boring, not fresh.
Well it is hard to find a good chinese buffet, I know that. I went twice to China Moon, it is pretty bad The food would be good if it was fresh. Everything sits out forever until someone asks for something fresh then they will make that, but geez you shouldn't have to ask they should toss out the old stuff and keep it fresh.
Won't be back.
Typical boring stuff soaked in sweet and sour sauces.

The Manager Is VERY RUDE and ANNOYING.
This is not the first time. The manager can be heard shouting and obviously being very rude to the other employees. Mostly the female employees it seems. It's something that can very much disturb the entire restaurant, and it's not just me, most everyone takes notice of this. This manager should be replaced immediately. Try to contact the owners to no avail.

CHINA MOON ROCKS!!!.
AWESOME chinese! I don't usually like chinese but China Moon is YUMMY!!! We ordered our food to go and it was made fresh in 10 minutes. It was the best chinese I've had in a long time.

Great Food, Great Prices.
If you want good food, family atmosphere and a wonderful staff, go to China Moon! If you are not into the Buffet thing, you can order from the menu, but with three kids, the buffet works great for us. Just do everyone a favor and do not send child alone to buffet. Like most buffet's, the food is best when resturaunt is packed. Crab legs are perfect, Chicken-on-a-stick is very flavorful. Soups are available (hot/sour, egg drop and wonton last time I checked) There is something for every taste, My one wish would be for a plain steamed or stir-fry veggie mix, without seafood. They do need to provide teaspoons for smaller mouths and more crab crackers!!! Great place for gatherings and family dining.

best chinese in town.
I think this is the best bang for your bucks in the portland area. Coming from buffalo, ny where there's tons of chain chinese restaurants open to 2am, I was desperate to find one here. After trying out lots of restaurants along cannon rd and in chinatown (sucks), about to give up after 20. I was thinking portland people have no clue what good chinese food tastes like. Beef and broccoli should have soft flavorful beef, not tough bland ones other restaurants are serving. China Moon, is by far the best place I've been for chinese food (Legin has the best dim sum). If you like tastey choices, go here and forget about all the other restaurants that cator to the weak american taste buds. On weekends they have crab legs and mussels on the buffet, you'd be stupid to go to red lobster for their tiny portions of crab.

How do they do it???.
An amazing selection of quality foods. Some of the dishes are the best I've had. The eggplant is outstanding. Everything is kept fresh and hot. For the price it has to be one of the best dining values anywhere.

Quite diffferent.
I had dinner at the new B-H location. I was impressed by the large selection of food. The food was kept adequately warm, and the food varied in colors. Most other buffets just have brown food. Lot of vegetarian options, some of which I liked more than the meat. Getting the value out of 9.95 is a stretch, but if the lunch selection is similar that would be great. I recommend dinner for big eaters.
