view & uploadKinda gross. So I went there knowing that it was on Dirty Dining (big mistake!) I had eaten there before and it wasn't bad so I still went... The food was in a little pool of grease and tasted gross! Then when I was almost finished from the kitchen I heard someone hawk a lugie or something in their throat up!!!!!!!! It was the grossest thing to hear from the kitchen I don't want to come back ever again!
Must not want our business.... Horrible service, which is an understatement. We were there at 11:30 and the front doors were locked, despite giant "open" signs in the window and a posted opening time of 11:30. They didn't open the doors until 11:40. The establishment was freezing cold, and I had four small children with me as well as three grandmas. Things were very dirty. My mom attempted to use the restroom, and someone turned the lights off on her, so she had to make her way out in complete darkness, only to find out that the waiter turned the lights off from the outside?????? It took 10 minutes to even get a menu, and an additional 20 minutes to get tea. The waiter gave me a dirty look when I asked for another tea pot and cups, since he did not supply enough for everyone. By this time, many other people had arrived. The same waiter then took everyone elses' orders and completely ignored us. We stopped him several times to remind him that he had not taken our order (and we had been there about 30 minutes at that point). He just gave us a blank stare and walked away. After watching him take all the other patrons orders and bring them soup, we decided the place certainly did not deserve our business (we had been there at least 40 minutes).. I will never go back there again!
Avoid at all costs.. This is possibly the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. The Szechuan chicken came in a thick, gloopy brown sauce. The egg roll was the diameter of a pop can and fried in grease that could definitely use a change. The 'crab puffs' came in a dough so thick I could barely chew it. The chicken chow mein was nothing but chicken and bean sprouts with very little taste. The rice was worse than Minute Rice. The restaurant reeked of cigarette smoke. And the entrance/waiting area was filthy. Cobwebs and dust covered fixtures and a huge stack of phone books (?) where you would hang your coat. I would never go back to this establishment.
