Dr Fields and the staff at Tuality Physicians are very caring & professional. I was lucky enought to be accepted as a new patient about twelve years ago when they weren't accepting any, because my sister was a current patient. The Dr told me he would always accept additonal family members of his current patients and has since accepted my brother and his entire family as new patients as well. Dr Fields is an extremely caring person and is absolutely the BEST Dr I have ever had. I would recommend this clinic to anyone looking for the best care available.…
Dr. Fields has been my primary doc for over 25 years. He and his staff have been attentive to all my medical needs during this time. I have found Dr. Fields to be very thorough in his recommendations and care for me. Diane and Kathy and now Robin are excellent nurses and have always treated me with curtesy and professionalism. I would recommend this office to all my acquaintances.…
Revisited Review: Good Physician and Nurses, Improved Receptionists I'm pleased to see that Tuality has a new receptionist who is to nice patients. I've always been satisfied with Peter Hoffman M.D. I think that he cares about patients and provides great service. But when the first and last person that you talked with in reception was always rude, it was hard to have a pleasant experience. Looks like 'Lisa' is no longer in reception, so I'm very happy to keep my business with Tuality Physicians.…
LOOK ELSEWHERE PLEASE!.
With so many options today, please take heed and find another group to tend to your medical needs. Although my doctor was helpful, the staff is awful and when it comes to any issues with their
incompetent billing - you will be frustrated and angered beyond comprehension.
This office billed me over $300 for a visit. I have a co-pay that was paid at time of service and I knew this was incorrect. The billing dept would only argue with me and insist I pay them. They were totally unhelpful. After a few phone calls and finally getting angry myself, they hung up on me, wouldn't return or take any of my calls and sent me to collection. This in turn, became a law suit 3 weeks later.
We spoke at length with our insurance company and were informed that the doctor's office never filed this claim with them. When I told them this, they told me "we aren't obligated to bill your insurance". WHAT!?!! Yes, they are obligated and actually have only 180 days to do so. Which they did not and we are not responsible for any of it, even the $14.00 that was actually my responsibility.
So, be forewarned. Read the other reviews. This facility is shoddy, both in aesthetics and in service. They are scam artists, they provide less than good care and WHY choose that when you can find a doctor that actually cares?…
Good Physicians.
I thought I would add some context to the discussion on this medical group. First everyone can have bad days - other things happening that affect their life, pre-occupation. Sometimes people have a
connection with a doctor they enjoy. I believe most family physicians if they are getting into an area that is not their expertise - they refer out - is the correct protocol. I have had people come into my place of business and have some people complain about a physician and others that swear that they are the best physician on earth. Sometimes it is chemistry.
I was a patient of Dr. Cruz which I enjoyed and I was then transferred to Dr. Karr as she left. My first encounter was strange. Perhaps we were both new to each other. I would have classified her as indifferent in our first encounter ( Bet you she thought the same). However, Having gone back to her for a physical a year later - I found her very informative - concerned over my health and what restrictions I may have in my life and willing to discuss items I wanted to discuss ( I did come prepared with a list and she spent the time with me). She was very pleasant and warm in her approach. Perhaps we met that comfort level with each other. The nurses were very helpful.
I cannot talk about the other physicians since I have not had an encounter. I would say it is difficult to get into see them at times.…
