Sweet tooths line up for ice cream concoctions made on a granite slab.. In Short
Crowds of couples, teenagers and parents with toddlers press up against the long refrigerated display case at this dessert chain, where a variety of ice creams, frozen yogurts and sorbets are made in-store daily. Customers choose flavors like sweet cream, cake batter or banana, add mix-ins--ranging from candy bar chunks and Gummi bears to hot fudge and peanut butter--then servers mash it all together on a frozen slab of granite.

Not so good. The ice cream tastes good enough... when it's slathered in sugary syrups or coated with candy.. creating a monsterous amount of calories that overweight America does NOT need. Sugar seems to cover up the poor quality of the ice cream. The prices are ridiculous and the menu is confusing. Screaming children everywhere. The teenaged staff quality is hit and miss.

If You Like Glue. The ice-cream at this establishment is really a disappointment. I was shocked when I went there on recommendation of people who said I just "had to" try it. The consistency of the product is very much akin to flavored, cold, Elmer's glue. The taste is passable enough, and the add in are always great, but how can you enjoy both of these when you have to CHEW the ice-cream. I honestly don't know how anyone can "love" this mess.

Who Invented this should be PRESIDENT. I love this place... They have the best ICE CREAM, and MIXIN'S as well as the best employees I have ever ran across. If you give them a Tip they even sing you a song! I make it an outting at least once a week!

Lick IT!. I am dairy sensative and I even risk it for this stuff!! Many memorys have been born there and it still makes me smile just to be suggested. Where else can you have ice cream customed flavored for you on a marble slab?? How cool is that? Try a custom mix root beer in sweet cream ice cream. It has that root beer bite! Add marshmallow cream and it tastes just like a root beer float! Sooo good!:)

Best Banana EVER!. It is very difficult to find banana ice cream ANYWHERE. But from January through Thanksgiving, CSIC has banana ice cream!

It is FANTASTIC!

The only downside is that they don't serve it from Thanksgiving through New Year's, when they serve Eggnog instead. YUCK!

They have a location in Gresham as well at the Gresham Station. Right off of MAX.

One $ is ridiculous. When you pay $4 for a small cup of ice cream it is ridiculous for you to post one $ for cost...................although the ice cream is good I can see why one that opened up recently in my area closed in about a month..........very few people, and just forget about families, can afford it............

many toppings, bad ice cream. cold stone creamery offers many toppings and original topping combinations but the overall taste of the ice cream is not very good.

Best Ice Cream Around. Cold Stone's has the best flavors, very creamy - and it's all custom! (And they've just expanded to Tualatin...)

uniquely pesonal creamy goodness. I love everything about Cold Stone. Everyone is friendly and helpful with new suggestions for the latest taste sensation. I love trying new combinations.
