ok apt with bad use of closet space. Sub par kitchen size/layout for the $. Overpriced for the area. Dog friendly but many people don't clean up after their dogs and the grounds stink when it rains. It's oregon. It rains alot. Currently trying to pass off very high increases as apts turn over, banking on new Intel employees from the new build to move in and pay the insane rates. Don't. Much nicer units for the dollar in the neighborhood.…
Seneca Village, Hillsboro, OR HORRIBLE PLACE TO STAY OR VISIT A FRIEND.
I was visiting a friend and was in the passageway of the apartment building. My friends's neighbor was getting into her apartment.
Her dog came out of the apartment and attacked me while I was just walking in the passageway. The dog was viscious and growling and bit my hand. The owner had no control over her dog and could not calm the dog while it kept attacking me.
I returned back with my friend and knocked at the door and the nobody answered the door.
When I made a complaint about this in the rental office, the leasing officers said it is not their problem and you need to speak with the lady. Even when I told them that I would like to speak with their manager she said that she was not sure when she would get back to me. She did not even have the courtesy of apologizing.

Good Place to live if you work at Intel or Hillsboro Airport. I've been happy with the qaulity of the apartment and the size (1 bedroom with a den and balcony). The facilities are well kept. The outdoor swimming pool is heated. The ladies at the front desk have always been good at taking care of any issues I've had. The maintenance crew has made repairs in a timely manner. The Orenco train station is close enough that you can take the train downtown if you'd prefer to read a book or snooze rather than drive your car. Within walking distance are two grocery stores, two park areas, one has a basketball goal and brand new playground, a nice new neighborhood, bike paths, several nice restaurants and bars, and a Starbucks. If you are going to live in Hillsboro, this place is good. I have lived here for 10 months. The only down side is people seem to keep to themselves. People tend to make friends with people outside the complex rather than make friends with people within the apartment complex. So, there's my 2 cents.…
