KIM WAS GREAT! WHERE DID SHE GO?. I have gone to Ritual as well and Kim was my stylist. She was awesome and the only person I trusted to do my A-line. I went back since she left to have my hair done, and the style didn't come out anywhere close to how Kim would do it. If anyone knows what salon she left to, please post!

Where did Kim go???. I went to Kim religiously, and she was incredible. I went in for my regular hair cut recently, and she no longer worked there! I wish I knew where she moved to because I would follow her. Now I'm lost trying to find someone as good as her again, and that's going to be hard to do.

Agree with some of the other negative reviews. I went to Ritual for a couple of years. In the beginning, they were great (although very expensive). Towards the end, I was made to wait for pretty much every appointment (while, yes, my stylist and others in the salon sat around and talked). Several times, the tension was pretty thick and I got the impression the people who worked there did not like each other. The last few times, I did not get the cut I expected. On my last visit, the cut was so horrible I felt I needed to have it fixed immediately, yet when I called, I was told by the receptionist that my stylist did not have any available appointments for several days. Not only was there no apology, I got the definite feeling they were not interested in fixing my haircut at all. I ended up going somewhere else to get it fixed, and I'm still going there today (in addition to referring about 6 of my friends to the new salon).

It seemed as though the quality of my haircut each visit had a lot to do with my stylist's mood that day and what was going on in her personal life. Everyone has problems outside of work, but I don't think it should affect the quality of the job they perform.

I think Ritual has the ability to be a great salon and my stylist was very talented. I just can't afford to spend that kind of money without knowing for certain that the results will be perfect every time. I'm now paying about 1/3 the amount they charge for color and cut with perfect results each time.

FANTASTIC. UPDATE: When Kim moved, I received a call the day before my appointment informing me of this fact and telling me they rescheduled me with someone else. I was not happy that I didn't find this out until right before my appointment. Needless to say, I didn't go back. I did find Kim and continue to see her regularly! :)

I called Ritual after trying 2 other salons in the area and not having the best experience. I called and the friendly receptionist got me an appointment the next day with Kim. I got there and was offered something to drink while I waited. Filled out a little paperwork and then Kim came over to greet me. We sat and talked about what I wanted. I was going for a pretty drastic change, but had no idea what I wanted. She played with my hair a bit and came up with a great idea. We did the wash and cut, and I was AMAZED with the results. Ive always had long hair, so I was going much shorter. She made me so comfortable and kept me talking the whole time. I will definetly be going back in a few weeks for a cut and color. A great experience and everyone at this salon is amazing!

AMAZING!!!! Everything you ever wanted! Kim is GREAT!. I had a GREAT experience with Ritual Hair Design. I went to Kim and she was amazing. All of the Ritual team members were amazing and very friendly. A very welcoming place with great results. Thanks again Kim you are the best!

Kim is a great stylist!. I went in for an inverted bob cut after reading such great things about Ritual on Citysearch. First of all, the receptionist was extremely pleasant both when I called and when I arrived--something you don't often find in salons. I was about 15 minutes early for my appointment (the receptionist offered me some water or tea), and my stylist, Kim, came out of the back within 5 minutes of my arrival and took me over to the chair. She talked to me for a few minutes about what I wanted and asked lots of questions so she was sure I got what I wanted. As she began cutting my hair, she continued to clarify and check in with me to see if I wanted her to make any changes. She took a lot of time to give me what I really wanted, and did not become offended when I asked her to change a few small details. Throughout the cut she was very personable...none of that awkward silence you get with a lot of stylists. All in all, it was a great experience, and I will definitely be back!

Great service, friendly staff, good haircut. I had a good experience with my stylist Melanie. She made an effort to understand my specifications, and cut my hair almost exactly like I asked. I really like this place.

You can be confident and HAPPY. Don't worry about getting your hair cut or colored by Venis at Ritual Hair Design because you don't have to be. You can be confident that it will come out amazing because she knows what she's doing. Even if you're not sure what you want, you can sort of describe it to her and she just knows what you're talking about and does it and it looks beautiful. And she's very confident when she's doing your hair so you don't get that uneasy feeling in your stomach halfway through the hair cut or color. She even cuts my 13 year old son's hair and he wants it to look like he barely got it cut but she always does it perfect....and 13 year olds aren't that easy to please. Definitely go and get your hair done at Ritual Hair Design, you will be HAPPY!

The best................. Want to get a great haircut in a great environment...go see Kim or Shawn. The receptionist is awesome as well but I always forget how to spell her name D________. They do great quality of work, make you feel great, and offer great products.
