The winery that produces one of Oregon's most expensive--and best--Pinot Noirs.. In Short
Winemaker Michael Etzel would probably be considered just another fine craftsman of premium Pinot Noir if it weren't for the fact that his partner and brother-in-law ("beau frere") is the wine critic Robert M. Parker Jr. The entry of one the world's foremost critics into the Oregon wine scene occasioned a commotion. Today the wines made here are huge, dark and flavorful. And because output is low, the wines are among Oregon's most expensive.

Yum. Absolutely the most wonderful Pinot available in Oregon. The effort and expense that goes into producing this wine is amazing .... it's expensive but definitely a super-premium wine.
