Great Pizza!. While in town a local pointed the way to the most delicious pizza- Hot lips Pizza! I am a very picky pizza eater and usually resort to making my own to avoid disappointment. The Pizza we had was delicious with plenty of vegetables and fresh garlic with ingredients that go all the way to the edge! Tasty Beer, Tasty Pizza- only wish there was one where I live!
JUST PLAIN HORRIBLE!!.
People Of Portland: For the love of God...this is NOT good pizza! The sauce is completely void of taste, the cheese tastes like a processed cheese-food type product and the toppings we had (sausage and roasted red peppers) are even less appealing. How on earth does this place do such a brisk business? Is Portland really that backwards? Have none of you ever really tasted what pizza should taste like? Thinking about visiting Hot Lips? Save yourself a TON of money and head to Fred Meyer and pick up a frozen pizza....you will still be disappointed, but you will not be out nearly as much money.
And to the owners of Hot Lips: seriously guys....great pizza is reallly not that hard to prepare. We're not talking about something complicated....it's pizza. You should be ashamed of yourselves!
All local ingredients!!. I am a pizza connoiseur and this is the some of the best pizza I have ever had in any city. You must try it out if you haven't already.
Not even as good as Pizza Schmizza.. I have eaten at 2 Hot Lips locations, and absolutely can't see anything special about their pizza. Even Pizza Schmizza has better pizza, and it's not great.
Good pizza, fast service, affordable. Working downtown near PSU Hot Lips is a great place to eat, pizza always ready to serve and waitstaff is always friendly. The breadsticks are my favorite. Some pizzas they use local and or organic ingredients which is always a plus. I always enjoy supporting the local restaurants vs chains. High recommended, give this place a try.
yummy pizza.
Love to grab a piazza here.
Its always made fresh for me
Enjoys it in the summer, when I travel down from Seattle
ALways gain a few pounds here at Hot lips
Am I missing something?. Maybe the Hot Lips on the east side is just bad because I tried it and can't believe it was voted number one. Vincentes, Apizza Scholls, and Flying Pie are my three favorites. I probably would even eat Pizza Hut before Hot Lips. Pretty bad I know. Maybe I'll give it one more shot. Nah, I don't want to be dissapointed again.
best portland pizza.
CHECK out the pizza
I shop till I get really hungry
and then grab great pizza
Always come here from Seattle
Hot lips Pizza. This place is sublime. I discovered this pizza place in the early 1990s and it is the only one I ever go to. Once in awhile they have pepperoni with green olives. I grew up on that combo, and I have never seen it anywhere else. The slices are large. They are served hot, and they never dissapoint. On the veggie side they have an apple bleu cheese and walnut slice that is really good, and their meat specials are extra fine. I have had some good experiences there. The staff is generally friendly enough, and the music ranges from oldies to the newest thing. Probably not a good date place, unless it is a date with your steady right before a movie or somthing, but really the best offered in this town.
