I HATE this store!. When shopping at this store you first HAVE to make it past the beggers of change to even get in. Then when you walk through the store to get your product, you have to be careful not to bump into a person or something in the aisle. Oh, and let's not forget the people who bring in their DOGS! GROSS! They set them in the cart where I am placing my FOOD! Oh, and some let them walk on their leash, so watch your step or you may step in some dog pee or crap. I avoid this store like the plague! I had to put one star to write this and I really wish they would have a negitive as well otherwise I would have done a -1!

Safeway Downtown is Busy...what do you expect?. They are understaffed. True. They are convintently located though and have nice staff. They are open earlier hours than normal. I would recommend. They are more expensive than Fred Meyer though, but they are lowering their prices.

Have an hour or two to kill? You can wait in line here!!!. Unreal. Any time of day, there are lines extending into the aisles whilst 1/4 of the checkstands are actually staffed with a checker.

Adding a u-check section would have been a good idea as long as the same number of checkers were in their check stands.

Unreal wait times, this store makes me want to run for cover. This is THE WORST Safeway I've had the misfortune of experiencing.

STAFF UP SAFEWAY!!!!!!!!
