I called well in advance to ask if I could get a stylist for my particular unusual hair issue. I made an appointment and showed up 6 minutes early. The receptionist checked me in and said "She'll be with you in a few minutes." My appointment time came, and nothing. Five minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes. No one came out to apologize for the delay, no one seemed to notice me at all. Fifteen minutes is my limit overtime for such things, but I didn't leave until 18 minutes after my appointment. Pointless trip, and a little stressful. No one called to apologize. I won't go back.

Best Salon. I have been coming to Roberts of Portland for several years now. I have always had nothing but good experiences. My stylist always has new suggestions for my cut and color, so I know that she really takes the time to think about her clients. I always recieve excellent service from the staff, and have loved every product I have purchased from them. You don't realize what you have been missing from your salon experience until you have gone there.

Wedding hair Disaster. I went in to get my hair done for my wedding a few weeks ago, by Amanda I had a trial that went ok, but my hair fell flat fairly soon after the appointment. The hair stylist assured me that, that was just because she had combed through it to many times when she was trying things on it. So I went ahead with her doing my hair the day of the wedding. The hair looked good for about a hour after I left the salon, and then I had to rea do my hair twice before the ceremony once for pictures, and then had to brush it out entirely before the ceremony and rea curl it after spending 65.00 on the trial, and then 75.00 for the day of hair and then tip I want my money back. The hair stylist, and her assistant were so sweet, but the hair itself was a disaster unfortunately I will not be returning to this salon after they made my wedding day more stressful than it should have been.

Erik does GREAT hair!!!. You know Erik is a great stylist when a) you ask for a NEW cut and style the day before you leave on a 2 week vacation, b) you've never styled your NEW DO before and now you are 3000 miles away with no recourse in case it doesn't work out, c) your hair turns out awesome each and every time you style it, and d) you get lots of compliments from your friends and family about your hair! Thank you Erik!!!!

I love Roberts of Portland and Dina. I've been getting my haircuts with Dina at Roberts of Portland for almost 2 years already! I've tried other places besides Roberts and I can't trust anyone with my hair anymore than Dina. She is absolutely amazing and knows what would look best on you and cuts it exactly the way you want it!

The salon is always well taken care of and the hairstylists always look out for your needs. They even offer water and tea before you start your haircut.

The only downside is having to drive from Battle Ground to get my haircut, but it turns out to be well worth the drive to get my hair the way I want it!

BEXT SALON EVER!!!. When my old stylist left town I was a bit distraught over where to go next. I have extremely curly hair and need someone who is confident and talented.

I stumbled upon Amanda at Roberts of Portland. From my first visit a year ago to now I have had the most EXCEPTIONAL service from everyone there. Amanda is professional, caring, qualified and very talented.

The staff are friendly and look for solutions(like scheduling me after I had to cancel three times).

I have never had a bad experience there and will continue to go for as long as Amanda is a stylist.

The location is a bit out of the way for me but worth the drive.

Best Salon!. I have been going to Robert's for over two years now and I love it. It is the best salon I have ever gone to.

Michelle is my favorite hairstylist and she really knows how to work with my hair. She also uses Pureology products which make your hair smell and feel fabulous.

All of the staff are friendly and I can always find an appointment time that works for me.

The only downside is that it is a little more pricey then I want to spend to get my haircut, but it's not too bad. About $50 (with tip) for a shampoo and cut and I always have long hair and lots of layers.

You should definitely go there!

Great Hair, Horrible Service. I went in for the first time to get my hair done, and my stylist was great! had worked there for over a year and had a great personality...but when i called to book the appointment, and came in the front desk staff was way too young..and soo unproffesional. there was one more mature lady with blonde hair who was running around like she was on uppers...too much energy if you ask me. I love my stylist..and wish she could come to my house, because that front desk staff has made me not want to come back!

Amanda is truly talented. I just went into Roberts of Portland for a color correction. I had just had some highlights done at a different salon that had leaked on my roots and were much lighter on the top than the bottom. Thankfully, I was recommended to Roberts by a friend. Amanda was able to completely transform my hair and make it look amazing! She dyed the top portion a deep brown color to correct the roots, added some light brown low lights, and used a brown color/glaze on the rest. She also used a clear glaze to make my hair extra shiny. My hair has never looked better! She was extremely knowledgeable and professional and far exceeded my expectations. Thank you Amanda! I love my hair!

Great Hair, Great Makeup. I just got hair and make up done for a friend's wedding and we turned out beautiful. They are fun, funky and funny! The bride and myself had a great time and walked out of there looking HOT!
